Tomatillo Salsa Verde

My changes: I roasted the tomatillos and blended them with the peppers, onions and garlic. Didn't add water. In my opinion, boiling the onions mellows them too much. Plus I add the cilantro at the very end, instead of boiling the cilantro in the salsa.

Chicken Soup III

I found this recipe to be overly salty. Suggest substituting low sodium chicken stock for the bouillon. 1 cube = about 1/3 daily sodium, therefore 6 is quite alot. 1 teaspoon of salt is not needed. Suggest salt to taste. Other than that, it was fine.

Beef or Chicken Marinade

Very good. I added some finely chopped sweet red bell peppers for a little kick. On its own, very good. You really can't go wrong with ginger-soy combination. Variations could include molasses for honey, or even dark corn syrup. Some worcestershire sauce for beef. even liquid smoke.

Big Smokey Burgers

While I agree this is a good recipe, I do not think it a "great" recipe and the reason is mainly because I am not fond of Adobo flavoring. I have made several marinades using Adobo sauce and chipotle peppers and they have yet to turn out pleasing. I will say that I love spicy things and I love smokey, grilled food so this recipe is right up my alley. The bottom line, try it once and see how you like it, as they say: your mileage may vary.

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

What can you say ? It's a pot of vegetable oil and wings deep fried in that oil. Once a year maybe...good recipe for a group; watch that the wings are not overcooked in the vat of hot oil (20 mins...give or take)

It's Chili by George!!

By far the best Chili I have ever made and about a dozen or so others have asked for this recipe. There is something about the combination of these flavors that everyone likes. My chili powder comes from The Spice House and if you use the medium hot chili powder, its makes a big difference. 1/4 C of medium hot chili powder will turn off a lot of casual chili lovers. It will be too much for them. 1/8 regular and 1/8 medium hot is about right, gives it just enough kick.
