I usually find round roasts tough and flavorless, its a cut of meat that I rarely buy because of that. I ended up buying a few on sale and decided to try this recipe as written. I have to admit, I was very skeptical about the results. To my amazement, the roast turned out a perfect pink, tender, delicious and full of flavor! This has to be the best round roast I have ever tasted! I am going to try this method on other cuts of beef as well. Thanks for such an easy and amazing recipe!
