Chicken Andouille Gumbo

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2008
My husband liked it, but it lacks the more traditional dark roueax...might try to modify it next time to make it more authentic.

This is one of the best out there. It's so easy too. I add garlic.

Good, but the recipe on the back of Karo syrup is the best!

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2008
This is great. I add more banana if I have it. Fill the muffin cups up all the way with a little bulge on top. I like really giant muffins, so I up the heat to 400 degrees and cook for 5 mintues to make them really puff up and then turn the heat back down to 350 for the rest of the time. Keep an eye on them so that they don't overcook.

Waffles I

These are good, though I will use "fxer"s modifications next time b/c I agree that these can use a bit more flavor. Might try buttermilk too.

Chicken Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2008
Pretty good, though I like most store mixes better. I like lots of spices and a thicker sauce, so I would have to tweak this a good bit.

Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2008
Add cinnamon and this is perfect. I add milk slowly and use more as necessary to keep from drying out and for a good consistency. It's a helpful sleep aid as well!

We've made this 3 times so far and always get compliments. We use "Satiny Chocolate Glaze" as suggested and garnish with fresh strawberries. Perfect!

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2008
I crave this too! I can't wait to make it again. I followed most of "momma_s"s modifications, but I like the ritz cracker topping and mixed them into the mixture as well along with more cheese.
