Chicken Angelo

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2008
This is the second time I've made this dish and it is FABULOUS! My hubby was sick with the flu and this is the only thing he begged for. You can substitute other cheeses or Italian breadcrumbs and it still turns out great!

Orange Marinated Pork Tenderloin

I followed the recipe exactly and it just didn't work for our tastes. I found the flavor strange.

Creamy Corn Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2008
Hubby absolutely love it! I followed the recipe pretty much, except I added an extra can of creamed corn and extra cayenne pepper since we like our dishes a little on the spicy side :)

Veggie Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2008
It was a great starter recipe, but I found the sauce to be too watery. I ended up adding more vegetables, including mushrooms and let it simmer for a bit to reduce. I will definitely make again, but I will add more spices and maybe waterchestnuts and cut down on the water that you add with the soy sauce.

Beans, Greens and Garlic Soup

Absolutely fantastic! You know when you are craving something and you can't put your finger on exactly what? Well, this soup was PERFECT! I used fresh, regular spinach and Great Northern White Beans and it was awesome!

Seven Layer Taco Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2008
Very good, I followed the recipe exactly, however, the first time I made it I tried another user's suggestion to pop it in the oven and it didn't turn out well at all. The second time I made it for a party I chilled the whole dish for a couple hours and it was a total hit! Everyone loved it.

Cabbage Fat-Burning Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2008
This was a VERY tasty recipe. I cut it in half after reading all reviews that it made too much. I followed the recipe except added frozed okra, minced garlic and cayenne pepper. After it simmered for awhile I felt that it needed a bit more salt, so I added garlic salt. What a great recipe! I never thought I would be able to get the hubby to eat cabbage soup, but he practically licked his bowl! (He added a slice of provolone cheese on the top of his bowl)

Egg Salad Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2008
I made this for lunch today following the recipe exactly except I soaked the dried onion flakes in hot water until they were soft, and then chilled the egg salad for an hour and a half. It was absolutely wonderful! My hubby freaked out and begged for seconds because it was so good!

Spaghetti Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2008
I made this tonight for dinner following other user's tips for replacing the pimentos and bell pepper with tomatoes, mushrooms and onions. I also added 1/2 cup of parmesan into the shredded cheese, and mixed whipping cream into the wine. I have to say that it turned out fabulous! My husband absolutely loved it! The only tip I can provide is that after I added the cheese on top for the additional 15 minutes, I found that the onions weren't done yet and cooked it at 350 degrees for an additional 15 minutes.
