Gingerbread Coffee
Fabulous! The only problem with this recipe is that my husband is now addicted to this stuff. We usually skip the whipped cream (out of laziness) but I've made this once using cinnamon whipped cream with great results. I also add some ground cloves directly to the molassas mixture instead of dusting it on top and sometimes I add a little ground nutmeg. We've used ordinary milk a few times instead of half-and-half, but it's not quite as good that way -- the cream smooths out the flavours somehow.

Homesteader Cornbread
My husband and I have made this recipe several times and we love it. This is a sweet, dense cornbread, but I find that it's sweetness is a good complement to a spicy chili. It keeps fairly well, but any cut edges will dry out quickly -- however, since the bread is dense, it will still be moist just beyond the cut edge. Only cut off as much as you plan to eat at a time. We also like this at breakfast with a little molasses.

Cassandra's Yummy Lamb Chops
I've been vegetarian for nearly 15 years and I've never cooked meat in my life -- I've never even touched raw meat. Making this recipe was my first attempt at cooking meat, and let me tell you I was totally PARANOID about cooking the meat properly. I made this for my meat-eating fiancee. Not only was this recipe incredibly easy to make, my fiancee says it's the best lamb recipe he's ever eaten at home, and second only to one he had in a restaurant. Very moist and flavourful.
