Hong Kong Sweet and Sour Pork

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2011
I thought this was really, really good. I used a 4oz diced can of pineapple & added the juice only to the sauce portion. I used cider vinegar instead of white. Served over brown rice , sprinkled with green onions. Bon Appetit!

Emilia's Cuban Black Beans

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2010
I love black beans & I thought the concept of this dish was interesting. I followed the directions exactly. It was a very bland dish. I added some hot sauce which helped. I am not going add this to my recipe box. Sorry.

Chicken with Asparagus and Roasted Red Peppers

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2009
It's okay. I serve it tonight (New Year's Eve) for my husband & I. I cut the chicken in strips. I overcooked it. I served it over wheat pasta. Next time more garlic & a little more balsamic.

Grandmas Bogie's Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2009
I really liked this recipe. I used Emeril's spagetti sauce that has the bits of garlic in it. I used alittle of it on the bottom of the pan, I served it with caesar salad & gnocchi with more of the sauce on top. yummy!

Stuffed Peppers with Turkey and Vegetables

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2009
Since I am not a fan of green pepper, I used yellow & orange. I also diced fresh basil and added that to the diced tomato sauce. This is one of the best recipes I have made from this site! I am on Weight Watchers & one pepper is only 7 points. Very Healthy & GREAT tasting.

I did not care for this soup. It turned out way too mushy for me

Pasta with Roasted Butternut Squash and Sage

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2008
This recipe is really different and very good. I used 3 tablespoons of fresh sage and fat free milk instead of the cream because I am on weight watchers. By cutting out the cream and using wheat pasta this is a core friendly meal! Just be careful you do not over roast the squash, it will come out too mushy.

I thought this was easy, but it looked like I slaved over it all day. Very, very tasty too! I used sweet red pepper instead of the bell pepper.
