Some of the recipes handed down from my mother and mother-in-law, especially nut rolls, Fluffo cookies and Cidets, a unique food made by cooking together eggs, milk,vanilla and salt, then straining through a cheese cloth. Preparing food for celebrations such as graduations, showers, weddings, etc. No real tragedies, just a few "uh-ohs".
