Fabulous Foolproof Lasagna
I really wanted to like this recipe because it uses no boil noodles and I'm all for saving time. However, I just didn't like it. I put plenty of sauce in but in the end, the noodles are just not the same as if you boil them. They are almost chewy and not the right texture. Also, I did not think there was nearly enough Ricotta using 1 pint. Oh well....back to my old standby recipe.

Slow-Cooked German Short Ribs
Very good! Not as greasy as I would have thought. This is a somewhat sweet dish which is what I like. Meat was very tender. I served it over noodles like it said but next time I might try something different like mashed potatoes or rice. Also I did not have to cook it as long as the recipe says. Next time I will also double up on the sauce ingredients.

Chocolate Chip Pistachio Cookies
If you are looking at both recipes for Pistachio Choc Cookie save yourself the time! I read them side by side to see which one I wanted to try, and realized this one (by Marlene)is the EXACT same as the one posted first (by Lisa). Other than a 1/4 tsp difference in the amount of salt, and the addition of white choc chips they are identical. This shouldn't one really be a separate recipe, it should be a review of the original with a mention of the very slight change. Other than that, I love these cookies. Since they are a bit light in color they are a nice contrast to other traditional xmas cookies. I'll also try them on St. Patrick's Day or for a church bake sale.
