About this Cook
I have three children (ages 6 and under), so most cooking adventures I have involve making sure I don't burn anything.
My favorite things to cook
Easy. Also, here's to hoping I'm not what I eat, but: I haven't met a pig I didn't like.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Welllll.... Cooking traditions growing up included making sure the microwave was set to level high for that frozen dinner.
My cooking triumphs
Dough for Stromboli and Cinnamon buns. (somebody pinch me.)
My cooking tragedies
Just two words: Fire Department.

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches
So delicious. I shredded the beef and sautéed onions & peppers to go on the sandwiches. Definitely a keeper.

Homemade Mac and Cheese
Fantastic, easy, and a crowd pleaser. No changes to original recipe needed, except to increase serving amount. (I doubled it.)

Lo Mein Noodles
First, I never try anything on this website that has very few reviews. But, I took a risk, and it worked out. This is a solid recipe, and very simple. The sauce (consisting of teriyaki, soy, honey, & ginger) could probably be used for any stir-fry or marinade. I ended up using it for the Lo Mein noodles. I added a little rice vinegar and sesame oil to taste (once everything was combined), due to personal preference.
