Rhubarb Punch Slush

Reviewed: May 19, 2014
Easy to make and yummy... but I found it was a little too lemony. Next time I'll try cutting the lemon juice in half.

Turkey Pot Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2014
I doubled the milk and flour (forgot to add the butter to the turkey but in the end I didn't miss it at all), used 2 cups of turkey, and pre baked the crust for 5 min (although I'm not sure that was necessary). Once everything was mixed together I found it quite bland so I added poultry seasoning and more salt and pepper until I liked the taste.

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2012
I followed the altered recipe for boneless skinless and it was delicious! I also added 2 Tbsp of corn starch. Boiled on stove for 5 - 10 min then poured over chicken, covered and baked 40 min, uncovered for last 15 min, basting every 5 min for the last 15 min.

Rhubarb Strawberry Crunch

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2012
This recipe is too sweet. It could probably handle 2 more cups of fruit (don't add anymore sugar or flour). The topping is very sweet as well... next time I will cut the sugar in half and add some cinnamon & nutmeg. The topping as written here is a little bland. There is a lot of the topping as well... increasing the fruit might help with that.

I didn't have whiskey so I used apple juice and cut out the brown sugar from the liquid mixture. It was really really good and very juicy!

Tuna Noodle Casserole II

I used bread crumbs on top... I think chips will be better so I'll try that next time. Otherwise everyone liked it.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: May 6, 2010
Next time I will cook enough noodles to make 4 layers, there would have been enough sauce to make the 4th layer but there would not have been enough of the cheese mixtures.

Special Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: May 3, 2010
This recipe is the only icing recipe I'll be using from now on. My husband who only likes store bought icing loved this recipe as did my brother-in-law who only likes homemade icing. So, it's definitely a crowd pleaser! I used both shortening and butter.

Chris' Bay Area Burger

These taste a lot of pepper so if you aren't a big pepper fan you may want to cut out the amount of pepper you add to the beef.

Colleen's Slow Cooker Jambalaya

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2010
This has a very nice flavour, it's a little on the spicy side but not too bad. I did find it a little watery, so next time I'm going to cut back on the liquids. Otherwise it's a keeper for sure!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2010
These muffins look amazing, smell incredible and taste even better! They are 5 stars all the way and taste very similar to Time Horton's muffins! The crumble does make way too much... I halved thee recipe and still had lots left over.
