Bread and Celery Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2008
very good basic recipe for stuffing. The only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is that i feel like it could be seasoned a little more, but other than that, a good recipe

Make-Ahead Meatballs

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2008
absolutely the BEST meatballs....with a few adjustments. Instead of 4 lbs of hamburger, i used 1 lb hot sausage to three lbs of hamburger. I also put 3 tablespoons of worchestershire sauce instead of two, and instead of 1 tablespoon of salt, I used 1/2 tablespoon seasoning salt and 1/2 tablespoon garlic salt. I also added 1 1/2 cups of mushrooms and increased the amount of onion to 1 cup. They turned out to be the best meatballs i have ever had, and my husband and I look forward to a lot of leftovers!!!

Easy Apple Crisp with Honey

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2008
I really liked this recipe and i would recommend this, with a few tweaks. I chopped about 1 cup of pecans in the food processor and mixed it into the crisp mix. I also would omit the water and lemon juice because it tends to make it watery on the bottom, because the apples make their own juice, especially with the honey. Along with the cinnamon, i also sprinkled 1/4 tsp of nutmeg and allspice to spice things up a little bit. Served hot with ice cream, this is one rockin' dessert. Think i'll get me another scoop while i am thinking about it.......

Curry-Coconut Shrimp

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2008
I followed aglika's suggestions to a tee and it turned out WONDERFUL!! She suggested putting coconut in at the end, but i found the flakes a tad fibrous and tough in such a creamy sauce. I will not put 3/4 cup of coconut in next time, maybe more like 1/4 cup if at all. The consistency was wonderfully creamy and the spices were spot-on. If you are looking for a different and taste-tingling way to cook shrimp, give this recipe a try
