Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2013
This has amazing flavor. It doesn't look all that pretty and it smells a little bland, but the tast is warm and comforting. Perfect for a cold ugly day outside!

Luscious Slush Punch

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2013
This punch is AMAZING! I am known for this punch and have made it for baby showers, bridal showers, BBQs, birthday parties, work potlucks, and even a wedding (with 140 guests). I am always asked for the recipe. It does take some prepping with freezing the jello oj/pineapple mix but it lasts in your freezer leaving you with an incredibly tasty and refreshing punch the day of the party. I use ziploc gallon bags to store in the freezer and when it is time to serve the punch, I simply drop in the frozen goodness and pour in my bottles of soda. A potato masher is really helpful when breaking up the frozen block. I have yet to meet someone who didn't LOVE this.

Coconut Macaroons

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2013
These turned out really well considering it was my first time. I did use the egg though some suggested not using it. Next time, I will be sure to roll the cookies into tight balls before putting on the cookie sheet because it was really hard to get the baked cookies off the sheet without them breaking apart. They were all completely stuck to the bottom even though I greased and floured the pan prior to baking.

Campbell's® Easy Chicken and Cheese Enchiladas

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2012
Amazing! I don't care for enchilada sauce and this was a perfect way to make enchiladas w/out it. I didn't have any green onions so I cooked the chicken in onions and garlic to give it more flavor. I chose medium salsa for a little kick and added a ton of extra cheese (per my husband's request) on top of the tortillas. The sprinkle of tomatoes on top gave it a nice presentation, though next time I will also use the green onions. YUMMY!

White Chocolate and Cranberry Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2012
Amazing! Very light brandy flavor and the white choc and cranberries go together perfectly. I made this for family for the holidays and they were a big hit. Great air freshened too! :)

Very peanut buttery! Made them for my husband to take to work and he and all of his coworkers loved them.

Rainbow Clown Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2012
This is such an ingenious idea and frankly, I'm a little disappointed that I never thought of this. I made red, white, and blue cupcakes with this recipe and they came out so cute. I used regular food color and it worked just fine. The blue isn't that dark but it worked. This dish inspired me to make red, white, and blue rice krispy treats and they also turned out great!

Fast and Friendly Meatballs

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2012
Not bad but my meatballs were a little dry even though I had them simmer on my tomato sauce for about 20 min while waiting for my pasta to cook.

Fra Diavolo Sauce With Pasta

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2011
This was a good recipe but not quite what I was looking for. I used 1.5 lbs of jumbo shrimp and didn't have the scallops but the sauce was nice. It had a good spiciness to it but there wasn't enough tomatoes so I may double the sauce next time.

D's Famous Salsa

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2011
I made this as an appetizer on Thanksgiving day and my family and friends loved it. My husband said it was perfectly hot enough (I used 1/2 a can of green chilis) and it was really very easy to make. I used two cans of Hunt's fire-roasted diced tomatoes. Heed others' advice and don't over blend in the blender!

Diane's Colcannon

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2011
Colcannon is delicious! I made it for a St. Patrick's Day dinner with family and we all loved it! It was better than your typical homemade mashed potatoes with chunks of cabbage and flavorful bacon. Who doesn't love bacon, right?!

Irish Potato Candy

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2011
Interesting and yummy, but very rich! I made them for St. Pat's Day and they tasted similarly to an Almond Joy but richer because of the cream cheese. I took some reviewer's advice to use cocoa powder and cinnamon for the outer layer and I am very thankful that I did -- otherwise, the cinnamon would have been way to over-powering for my taste. I will probably make these again next year, but will definitely halve the batch since you can only eat a few bites of these rich little suckers.

Fruit Pizza II

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2011
I made several modifications because I made this with my class of two year olds: left out the sour cream and didn't use the orange syrupy drizzle. My kids loved to watch me cook the crust and they helped spread the cool whip and cut the fruit. We used bananas, strawberries, and kiwis and chilled it for 4 hrs during nap time. This treat is light, not THAT bad for you, and so refreshingly sweet. I would like to try the recipe w/out adding modifications for myself one time since I can't imagine it is any better than it was the way we made it.

Mulligatawny Soup I

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2011
Unbelievable! 5 stars does NOT do any justice to this perfect recipe. I followed it exactly as the recipe stated but doubled it so I had enough for leftovers. Oh, but I did use basmati rice which kept the dish a true Indian soup. It has the best curry flavor and the chicken and vegetables are juicy and tender. My mouth is watering just remembering how good it was! I picked up some naan from our local Indian Restaurant to dip in the soup but the soup is hearty enough without it. Love this soup and will definitely make again for company. YUMMY!

Quick and Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2011
Not bad but definitely needed more spices. I also preferred this soup the next day reheated when all of the ingredients had marinated a little longer.

Mini Crescent Dogs

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2011
Awesome and yet quick and easy! My sister-in-law and I made 2 batches of these because we kept eating them as they came out of the oven. **My recommendation: use the lil' weenies with the cheese inside (not all grocery stores carry these). I was skeptical about the quality of the cheese taste but it made the treats that much better.

Candy Cane Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2010
Wow - can I just say this is the PERFECT holiday recipe?! Its beautiful, colorful, easy to make, doubles as a gift, and tastes amazing. I followed the recipe the first time exactly as follows (with red food coloring) and it turned out wonderfully. **One tip I found to be helpful: Spread the liquid fudge into the pan before adding the food coloring, then add in only a couple of drops in different spots and swirl the color gently with a spoon. The fudge will cool quickly but this prevents the fudge from turning all pink and gives it a gorgeous red and white swirl, similar to a real candy cane. I am about to make another batch right now and will be giving as gifts to my coworkers this year. Happy Holidays and thanks for this recipe!

Alyson's Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2010
I thought this was just OK. Not sure what I did wrong but it just didn't flow well. It seemed like too much mayo for me and not enough raisins. I will try again sometime but most of what I made went to waste so I'm not sure I want to go through the hassle again. May just purchase from the store next time.

Sugar Coated Pecans

Reviewed: May 24, 2010
I got rave reviews for these! I made these to sprinkle on top of my salad for Easter Dinner, however, my husband and sis-in-law couldn't stop eating them straight out of the bowl. The method seems strange but they turn out delicious. One tip: they may still seem chewy when you take them out of the oven but once they cool the will harden into a wonderful crunch.

Poinsettias

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2010
I really enjoyed this beverage! I made it on Christmas Eve and of course, Christmas morning for my family and everyone really enjoyed the tart cranberry flavor with the sweet sparkling champagne. TIP: Freeze the cranberries before adding them to your glass to keep the drink even colder! Enjoy!
