Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2008
Oh wow! This is the second banana muffin recipe I've tried off of here, and I wish I had found this one first! I made them as mini muffins, and added a little cinnamon to the batter. I just finished another batch for Sunday morning breakfast, but didn't have any bananas. Instead, I used a cup of unsweetened applesauce, and added a dash of cinnamon, and nutmeg. These turned out just as good as the banana ones!

Crispy Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2008
Made this tonight because I wanted something different. It turned out pretty well. I used chicken tenderloins instead of the fryer. They turned out just fine! They reminded me of eating chicken strips without all of the grease! This recipe is definitely a keeper. The only thing I didn't care for was I tasted a little too much salt, but that could be because I used smaller chicken portions.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2008
Very good recipe, but I agree with alot of the other cooks who say these are too salty. I could definitely taste the salt. When I make these again, the salt will be cut in half. The only thing I did different making these was using all butter, and no shortening, and using all natural peanut butter. Next time I make these, I believe I'll try more oats to add to the texture. Other than that, I thought this cookie recipe is one of the best I've had!

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2008
Good flavor! I loved making these in the slow cooker. The chicken fell apart when I took it out, and easily pulled apart for bbq chicken sandwiches. Will definitely make these again.

Banana Sour Cream Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2008
I ended up cutting this recipe in half, and poured all of the batter into a regular size loaf pan. The bread didn't turn out that moist, but quite possibly it was because of the pan I put it in. It had a different flavor, but I can't say it's the best banana bread I've ever had or made.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2008
I just made these for my family this afternoon, and they are delicious! I didn't use a bread machine, just did it the old-fashioned way. I only used a 7 oz. package of yeast. Also, I didn't have the bread flour because the cashier at Walmart must have not put it in my cart because she was too busy talking to my toddler. I used all-purpose flour, and they turned out fine. Probably could have used a tad bit more flour, but I just added a little more when I rolled them out. I only used about 2 tbsps. of butter on the dough instead of the 1/3 cup. Just seemed like a lot of butter to me, but I guess that's what makes them really 'gooey'. Taste just fine to me the way they turned out! If they dry out too fast, I'll probably use the 1/3 cup butter called for the next time I make this recipe.

Not bad... I added a little Steak Seasoning Spice to give it extra flavor. I had problems with the patties falling apart, and the cheese popping at me in the frying pan. Otherwise, these were very tasty!

Banana Muffins II

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2007
Very good recipe! I added vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and substituted oil for the butter. They turned out very tasty. I can't wait to try other variations to the recipe.
