I am a single 50 year old cook, I am the cook at my hunting club & Fishing Camp. I love the outdoors and cooking outdoors, I get invited to all the parties... and then asked to cook. But I love that, this is a passion for me, Not eating, but cooking for people and watching them enjoy my cooking. A perfect day for me is crappie fishing in the Mobile Delta, cleaning the fish and having a huge fish fry. Golden slabs of Crappie server with homemade coleslaw and hushpuppies, it just don't get any better. I love trying new things, living on the Gulf Coast of Alabama I love to cook seafood, and being born and raised in Dixie, I love cooking southern foods, but also love experimenting with other types of food, recently I have started cooking Chinese... and love it, so much fun using a wok Christmas,Thanksgiving. I love an Old traditional Christmas and Thanksgiving, Turkey, and all the fixings with "It's a wonderful life playing on the T.V. all day long. The colder the better with a huge fire burning in the fireplace with family and friends enjoying the holiday with me. I have been told I cook the best Smoked Duck and smoked chicken wings. My Girlfriend cooked me a dish called "Sea-Shells"... years ago, I fell in love. They are on my recipe site, try them and let me know how you liked them, I have made a few changes, they are so good. Too many to list but I keep trying. At 12 years old I cooked a birthday cake for my mother... the dog would not even eat it, and he was a S#!@ eater. This is a great site to learn, AllRecipes is the best site I have ever joined, tell your foodie friends to join they won't regret it. I have had several of my friends join and they love it.
