Classic Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2014
They are perfect with the extra 1/4 cup extra peanut butter, and the 1/2 cup extra flour. Golf ball sized dough balls rolled in sugar. Bake 350 for 10-11 minutes. CHEWY and MOIST. Outstanding!!!

Sweet Spicy Wings

WOW!! excellent recipe.... made a 1/2 batch of sauce for a whole cut up chicken. After grilling I put them in the oven at 325 for 30 minutes and the sauce thickened and I basted the chicken. THIS IS A KEEPER!! THANKS! (I used Franks red hot, instead of LH sauce- that's what I had in the house)

Chili con Carne II

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2009
I made this recipe as printed. It sounded like it would be a good recipe with a twist. Cinnamon made it gross, lack of flavor besides the cinnamon. Now I have to figure out how to save this meal so I don't throw it away. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS RECIPE!

TRY IT THIS WAY --- Add about 2cups green grapes, and 2 sliced bananas before serving. I skip the marshmellows... to sweet! YUMMM!

Wedding Cake Frosting

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2008
My two year old and I had a great time baking a cake for Valentines Day, and eating the frosting. I made a half batch, but used 1 teas. vanilla, and 1/2 teas. almond extract. The flavor was awesome, and the consistancy was perfect for spreading on the cake. Beating the mixture for 5-10 minutes is key. It thickens and creamy the frosting by adding air. Also, I added a touch of red gel coloring to make it pink. No lumps - perfect!

Coffeebar Chai

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2008
LOVE IT ! I follewed SKIDZ7 suggestions, but added 2 cardamon pods instead of the ground. Strained it with a coffee filter in a hand seive, cooled it and put it in the refrigerator. When I wanted a mug full, heated my 1 cup of milk and added enough mixture to taste. Great for a cold day here in Minnesota! Coffee houses watch out!

Sirloin Tips and Mushrooms

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2007
Will defenitly make it again. I followed HENNY FRANKs review, and added my own twist. I put some flour in a large plastic container and shook the beefcubes in the closed bowl with McCormick steak seasoning about 1 TAB. Sauted quickly in garlic and olive oil per recipe then put it in the crock pot. Added about 2-3 Tab. of the seasoned flour in the crock pot and added 3/4 cup Marsala cooking wine with about 2 teas. of dried minced onion, 8 oz. chuncked fresh mushrooms, and a 12 oz. can of Delmonte diced tomotoes with basil, oregano, & garlic, 1/4 cup of water and and a couple of bayleaves. Cooked in crock pot for 2 hours on med/low. Of course served on buttered noodles. The steak seasoning really added wonderful flavor! The beef was so tender, and the sauce was "coated the back of the spoon" perfect. Excellent recipe. THANKS!

Cheeseburger and Fries Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2007
Followed this recipe, and didn't find anything tastey about it. The only thing my kids ate, were the fries on the top that didn't touch the meat. Will not make this again....

Glazed Meatloaf I

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2005
My kids always want my husband to make meatloaf, because they don't like mine. I made this recipe the other day, and I was then overwhelmed with GREATNESS! I only made a half batch (cooked it about 25 minutes with a meat thermometer to 160*) then added the same amount of sauce and cooked it 10 minutes more. THIS IS A GREAT RECIPE! THANKS!

Marshmallow Crispie Bars

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2005
RICE CRISPIE BARS = GOOEY OR WHY MAKE THEM!?? Great recipe - vanilla is a nice touch. I always melt my butter in the microwave and then mix in the marshmellows.... microwave another 15 seconds then mix in the cripies. Easier than than the pan. I like them thick also, so I make them in a 7 x 11 brownie pan.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2005
AWESOME COOKIE - new favorite! I made a half batch because 6 dozen is too much for my family and they turned out great! I followed the advice of SVROSS (Add 2 teasp. of baking powder, 1/2 teasp. salt and 2 TABLESPOONS (yes, you heard right) of VANILLA. This gives them what they were missing as noted in serveral reviews., but halved it for the half batch) My tips in making these: Make sure your butter is soft not melted when you make them, add the pudding from the box, don't make it into pudding first, and put the dough in the refrig inbetween batches. They do not "melt" down, so if you like mound chocolate chip cookies then don't do a thing. I used a small scoop and pressed mine down with my fingers a little before baking. I also cooked them for 14-15 minutes instead of 12. Very easy to make!! A+++++++ recipe! Thank you Debbi!!

Chocolate Italian Cream Cake

This cake has a very good taste, however I had a very crumbly cake. It was very hard to stack and frost. I followed the recipe to a tee. I probably wouldn't make it again,

Todd's Famous Blueberry Pancakes

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2004
We didn't enjoy this recipe at all. My daughter is a blueberry fanatic, and she only ate a half of one. I made this recipe exactly how it is was written, except waiting the hour. It needed more sugar in the batter. I will stick to my Betty Crocker cook book recipe.

My family thought it tasted like roasted marshmellows. If you like roasted marshmellows on your pancakes then you would enjoy this recipe. We personally don't.....

Herb Rubbed Sirloin Tip Roast

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2004
VERY GOOD RECIPE! The only thing I would change is the amount of salt. I would cut it in half. With all the other flavors you wouldn't miss it. I made mine in a crock pot and there was plenty of juice. I added sliced green peppers and onion and served it with provolone cheese and buns like italian beef. My children even enjoyed it!

What a great recipe! To cut down on calories - I just sprinkled cinnamon sugar on top instead of the topping suggested and they were just as good!
