THIS WAS AWESOME! I followed the recipe exactly and it was fantastic! BEST I've ever had! My Minnesota-born husband grew up on split pea and he was very pleased with the results!

Kung Pao Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2010
I made exactly according to the recipe (minus water chestnuts- yuck) and it was delicious, but didn't taste like the King Pao I get at our local eateries.

Baked Sweet Potato Sticks

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2010
I've tried every "baked" sweet potato ff, stick or slice recipe and they never seem to work out. Mine turned out limp and soggy. :-(

Jalapeno Bread II

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2010
A little bland. Perhaps using pickled jalapenos would work better.

Weeknight Chicken Cordon Bleu

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2010
THIS WAS AWESOME...My husband, 2, 3 AND 5 year old kids all ate it up. I used cream of mushroom because I was out of cream of chicken. I also used crushed Ritz instead of regular breadcrumbs. A KEEPER!

Jumbo Breakfast Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2010
These were good. I made a few changes...I reduced sugar to 1 cup, added 1/4 cup honey, 2 tbl ground flax and used apple jacks instead of cheerios. I also used less raisin and added cranberry-raisin. They turned out soft and cake-like. Kids still ate them up.

Spiced Pumpkin Seeds

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2010
I tried these 3 different times, and they just didn't turn out good. Easier and cheaper to just buy the store-bought.

Low-Fat Broccoli Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2010
I think the onion was a dominating flavor. In the future, I'd reduce the onion. Otherwise, a wonderful and filling lowfat soup.

I'm hesitant to try recipes with little or no reviews, but this one was a treasure! My family truly enjoyed this wonderful bread.. Only change made was I did not toast the almonds. PERFECT!

This was fantastic! What a great combination of flavors! The only thing I changed was that I did not toast the almonds. I made 2 loaves and they were quickly gobbled up by my family!

Zucchini Yogurt Multigrain Muffins

This was a great recipe! I was out of honey, so I added 3/4 cup of peanut butter (should have only added 1/2 cup)and it was awesome! I'll experiment more with this recipe and maybe add chocolate chips next time. My whole family ate it up!

Crispy Chipotle Lime Tilapia with Cool Avocado Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2008
I made it exactly according to the recipe and it seemed that noone in the family liked it. It may have been the fish, but I used fresh Tilapia. As for the sauce, I was out of sour cream and subbed cottage cheese. This was actually the best part of the meal! It was very yummy and we will make the sauce again.

YUMMY Pizza crust. I followed several reviewers' advice and reduced flour to 2 1/2 cups and let dough rise for one hour. I also substituted in 1 cup of whole wheat flour. Turned out great.

Great and easy recipe. I was actually out of cream of mushroom soup so I used golden mushroom soup. Turned out nice. The meat was a little dry, but the rice was cooked perfectly.

Honey Multigrain Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2008
DELICIOUS! We followed others' advice and reduced the amount of white flour. I ended up using 4 1/2 cups. Otherwise, followed published recipe and it was great! We ate sandwhiches for lunch and dinner, just so we could use the bread!
