One of my favorite recipes....I make this as printed and we all love it. Delicious.......updated! I just made this again and I used the can of rotel tomatoes instead of the fresh ones and I also added Chili powder and a tad bit extra cumin. I also cut up the stewed tomatoes. Thanks for posting this recipe

Slow Cooker Mongolian Beef

I dont know what I did......maybe cooked it to long because the sauce was so think and the meat had an odd texture. I always try a recipe twice so I will update when I try it again

Split Pea Soup

Im not a fan of split pea but this was very good. I added to much liquid and was runny the first day but the next day thickened up great. I also added more chopped ham steaks at the end.

Pecan Pie V

I made this pie tonight and use my kitchen aid to blend everything up to the flour. When I baked it there was a thick crust on top. I made another one because it didnt look right and I couldnt go without a pecan pie to thanksgiving. My second pie came out wonderful but still have a crust on the top. I looked at all the pictures and it seems others came out like this too. Pie was delicious and will make again. My pecans did not float to the top like most pies but yummy! I really like the no corn syrup.

World's Best Lasagna

This is trully the best lasagna I have ever had. Even my kids ate it. I followed the recipe and was very happy. Next time I think I will use 1/4 teaspoon fennel seed. Cant wait to make it again

Apple Stuffed Chicken Breast

We really like this recipe. It really is easy and very yummy. I have made it 3 times now and have done it 3 different ways. The best so far is buying thick breasts and slicing them in half but not cutting all the way through and stuffing them. The second time I did it I still used toothpicks but tonight I tied it closed and the stuffing stayed in much better. Rolling it all my filling fell out so I started stuffing them and it's way better. The flavor seems better stuffing and tying also. This is one I will make over and over again.

Sarah's Applesauce

I love this recipie, I never have done homemade applesauce before and I had a flat of apples and decided to look up a recipe and liked this one the best. It is delicious. I also did in my slow cooker w/ 5 lbs of apples 1 cup water and 3/4 cup sugar and cinnamon to our liking. It is the best. My kids LOVE it.

Oliebollen (Dutch Doughnuts)

As a daughter of a full Dutch father, this is what we would look forward to EVERY New Years day. It was a tradition. These are very good but I made them the way my dad did. I did a double batch and used 1 cup of beer (rrom temo) and 1 cup warm water. Did not use milk. Also only used 1 cube of yeast because of the beer. He also made it and let it rise all night and made them in the morning. I have done this tradition with my kids since my dad has passed and hopefully they will carry it on.

Turkey Pot Pie I

This is such a good pot pie. I have made it 3 times now and need to rate it. It is the best for left over Turkey. So easy to make. I use extra potatos and Turkey and also Poultry seasoning. Very tasty, the whole family loves.
