Trained Chef, have been in the Hospitality Industry for 10 years, starting my apprenticeship at the tender age of 18...but now I am at home taking care of our first baby, so have lots of time to cook for fun!!
My favorite things to cook
Desserts both modern and traditional. I am trying to learn sugar craft such as Marzipan work and Royal icing and Fondant such as Sugar Roses etc. Home made pizza, breads...enjoy working with Yeast. Anything really, but I love the Art or Asthetic aspect of cooking.

...winning a Australian Salon Culinare Bronze Medal, going through the tough first four years of my Apprenticeship and doing a live cooking demonstration in front of an Audience at the Western Australian food and Wine Festival.
My cooking tragedies
Live and learn from things you burn LOL! In other words learn from your mistakes, we all make them!
