Sandy's Chocolate Cake

I have not made the frosting for this cake but I have made the cake a handful of times. I've made it with buttercream icing, with cream cheese icing and with ganache..each time it cake out FABULOUS! I've had multiple requests for the recipe and people ALWAYS say it's the best cake they've ever had. Very moist, rich chocolate flavor..it's perfect!

Fluffy White Filling

I didn't care for this recipe at all. It was pretty bland and too "shortening'y" tasting. I had to add a little bit of salt and a lot more sugar to make it worthwhile. I won't be making this one again...it did nothing to add to the cakes I made. I tried it with a chocolate cake and a strawberry cake.

Clone of a Cinnabon

These were really good, but almost a little too sweet. I doubled the frosting like a lot of people suggested, but I think next time I make them I'll just make the 1 batch of frosting. I also don't have a breadmaker so I don't know if that was the reason, but my rolls didn't raise a whole lot. They tasted really good, but were pretty dense, not "fluffy" like I was expecting. I followed the suggestions on making it without the bread maker, but it just didn't work out as well for me. I'll definately try them again though, and maybe next time they'll be a 5/5 star recipe!

Best Hot Crab Dip

I've made this numerous times and it's a hit every time. I make it in the crock pot and stir periodically to make sure all the ingredients are mixed in thoroughly. I do use the imitation crab meat because it's cheaper and I don't put in the capers..just because I don't like them..otherwise I follow the recipe to a "T". It does get to be an expensive appetiser, but it's so worth it! I usually use a foccatia bread cut into thin slices and sprayed with butter cooking spray and garlic salt then baked in the oven until crispy...tastes amazing with the crab dip!

Mom's Ice Cream Dessert

I make this same recipe too pretty much to a "t". The only things I change is that I keep the peanuts whole and put them on top of the ice cream before putting the fudge topping on top and I omit the butter in the fudge topping, you don't need it. The fudge is good to make alone and keep jarred in the fridge for over sundaes too!

I've made this recipe for Christmas the last 2 years and I always get rave reviews! You really have to be careful to stir CONSTANTLY and reach 290 degrees or it does not turn out..just like any candy. Every where I go I'm asked for this recipe..it's amazing!

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

This is always a hit in my house! The only thing I really change is I substitute chicken broth for the beer..just because that's what I usually have on hand. It freezes well too!

I got rave reviews on this recipe for a dinner Party I hosted. I add pecan pieces to the caramel sauce and served with ice cream. My only complaint is that the apples were almost too tender. Next time I might not bake them as long...
