Irish Chicken and Dumplings

It was pretty good. I added paprika just to add some color because it looked so bland. It was yummy though.

Mongolian Strawberry-Orange Juice Smoothie

I thought this was a good start--both my husband and I agreed that it needed more flavor. Next time I will add another half cup of strawberries and a little more sugar. This is a great smoothie for the morning or to replace a meal. I'm full! :)

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

My husband would give it a five. I however, thought it was a bit salty--I think it was the taco seasoning I used--next time I will use the seasoning the cook for this recipe recommended. I give it four stars. We added cilantro, cheese, sour cream and a huge dollup of homemade guacamole. That really helped with the saltiness for me.

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

I really enjoy this recipe. I love the taste that the cinnamon brings. I added a half a bag of chocolate chips and I think that added a lot.

Beef Pot Roast

This is a wonderful starting point for the recipe, its open enough so you can add your own spin on things. What I did-- I followed the directions--I cut everything in half, added potatoes to the pot as well as onions and carrots around the meat and then added a cup and a half of beef stock to the dutch oven (next time I will add even more--you can never put too much stock in a pot roast--makes for more tender meat and really tasty veggies) After it cooked ( I cooked it a bit longer than required--again a roast is awesome and safe in the dutch oven--I cooked it for 30-1 hour longer) I took the beef stock roast juices out of the pan and made gravy. It was awesome! It had a wonderful flavor! :) Also, super easy.

Sugar Cookie Frosting

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

I really loved this recipe. It is going in my 'favorites' book. I read a lot of the reviews before making them and thought that all the changes seemed a bit much, so for the first time I just stayed with the original recipe and it came out really well. It doesn't really need anything--the only thing I could add is probably a 1 tsp. vanilla.

Linda's Lasagna

I LOVED this lasagna, I rate things at my house on a scale of 1-10 and I gave it an 8.5 (which is very, very high) my husband gave it a 7--he said it needed something. I loved the subtle taste. It was wonderful. I did use ricotta cheese this time, since I am not a huge fan of cottage but I am going to make it with cottage cheese next time. This is going in my recipe book. :)

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

This was so great!! If you dont like pepper, I would recommend not adding a full teaspoon, maybe 1/2--3/4 teaspoon. We ate it in a sourdough bread bowl that was so yummy! Great recipe!
