Hearty Split Pea Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2011
Best split pea soup we've ever had! I left out the ham because we're vegetarians and I actually forgot to add the milk before serving, but it was excellent!

Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2010
Turned out very nice. A little on the salty side for me, I added extra mayo to try and tone it down. I might omit the salt next time.

Kerri's Holiday Punch

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2010
I made this last night for a holiday party and it went over very well. We actually ran out, I should have made two batches! Will make again for New Years. I followed other reviews and used pink lemonade and used grenadine cherry juice for the coloring.

Delicious Black Bean Burritos

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2009
this was great! I made it for my mom and I, we're vegetarians. you can definitely tweak it for your tastes. I left out jalapenos (we're wimps) and added some cheese. We topped with salsa, sour cream and avocado, yummy! I made a double batch and it was enough for 5 burritos, I'll be making it to take for lunches!

All Day Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: May 20, 2009
This is the closest I've ever come to my grandma's macaroni. My fiance's friends request it every time we all get together for dinner. I took other's advice and used only one egg and beat that with the milks. I boiled the noodles for about 6 minutes before adding them. I use reduced fat condensed milk, 2% cheese and skim milk and high fiber noodles to make myself feel better! I found two hours on high was perfect.

Brown Rice and Black Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2009
very yummy and easy! I'm vegetarian so I did mushrooms, onions, carrots and green pepper. the great thing about this recipe is you can tweak the ingredient levels for what you want. I doubled the rice, trippled the carrots and mushrooms and halved the cheese. Will be a great dish to have all week long.

I baked the chips for 10 mins and heated the beans and then stuck them back in the oven with all the fixings. Added lettuce and salsa once they were done.

Wild Rice Casserole I

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2008
Very good recipe. I only added one packet, used healthy request reduced sodium soup, just one onion and added extra mushrooms. Only issue was that it was a little mushy because I had timed it to take 9 hours and low and it probably needed 5-6 hours. Great vegetarian, gluten free side dish!

Three Cheese Garlic Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2008
Not sure if I didn't cut them thin enough, but I let them sit in a pan with water for about 10 mins, baked covered with foil 30 mins and then uncovered for 40 mins and they were still crunchy. I did sub the milk and sour cream for the cream, which I thought was a great idea.

Slow Cooker Venison Roast

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2008
I made this yesterday for my boyfriend, who loves venison, and he said it was the best venison recipe he's ever tasted! I didn't have the onion soup mix, so I omitted that and switched garlic powder for garlic salt and just added a few mushrooms in with the onions. I made mashed potatoes to go with the gravy. I'll definitely be getting a lot of requests for this, thanks for the great recipe!

Pumpkin Soup

This is great! Next time I'll try some of the spices and a little peanut butter like others suggested, but I followed the exact recipe and I love it, eating it with a sandwhich for lunch right now.
