Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2007
I loved this recipe! By far the easiest to follow! I substituted the ham for bacon because my bf didn't want ham in it. I also used half water/half chicken broth instead of the cubes... It was truly amazing!

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2010
This sauce is great! I used about a 1/4 cup of butter - my sister in law said 1/2 was just a little much for her taste. Will keep this recipe forever!

Simple BBQ Ribs

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2008
I used this recipe, but modified it some. I put the ribs in a crockpot w/ a little water and smothered them with bbq sauce. I let it cook all day while I was at work...I could barely get them out of the pot they were so tender! Loved it!

Ground Beef Enchiladas

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2008
This recipe is amazing! I did make a few changes. My meal plan went from serving two people to seven without another trip to the store, so I used 2lbs of ground beef. I had a ten pack of corn tortillas and I sliced them into fours. I then lined the bottom of my 13x9 pan with tortillas, then a layer of meat, then a layer of the sauce mixture (I used sour cream instead of yogart and used half Mozzarella/half Mexican Blend for the cheese) I was able to layer it all 3 times and then added another sprinkling of shredded cheese on top of the entire dish. Baked it for 20 minutes and perfection! This was great! and everyone loved it! Even sent the wives home with the recipe! This one is definitely going to be made again!

Grilled Venison Backstrap

Reviewed: Feb. 29, 2008
I used this recipe for my first time ever eating venison, and I can say, I am hooked! I want more....too bad deer season is over :( Love the apple cider, I think it just takes that gamey edge off that I was afraid of. My boyfriend thought I was crazy for following this recipe, but truly loved the meat once we grilled it!

Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 29, 2008
I made this recipe with a 5lb bag of potatoes! I love how this website converts the recipe for you! My friends rave that it is actually better than The Apple Dumpling's soup (a local restaurant known specifically for that soup) Have passed this recipe on to many friends!!!!

Pasta with Asparagus

Reviewed: Feb. 29, 2008
I used this recipe as a base. I actually used homemade garlic pasta and asparagus. I didn't use chicken broth, just some olive oil and it was great! Loved it!

Shrimp Scampi Bake

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2008
This recipe was amazing! Made it last night for dinner. Its so easy to follow! I used a little white wine in the sauce and it gave it great flavor. I skipped the mustard- didn't have any and didn't want to buy some just for this recipe - but the dish was still amazing! My boyfriend is still talking about it! I plan on keeping this one handy! Already recommending it to friends!

Guy Approved Meatloaf

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2008
This recipe was outstanding! Read the reviews and some said it was crumbly...so I used breadcrumbs instead of cracker/potato chip combo...I also used 1 pound hamburger meat and 1 pound of ground venison. I cut the bacon in half and browned it a little before baking the loaf. Cut in half and laying across skinny ways makes it easy to cut the loaf into slices to serve it! I also made a glaze of bbq sauce, ketchup and brown sugar and brushed it over the top and let it cook the last 10 minutes!!! Truly amazing! Didn't even have leftovers!!!

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2009
Like a few others said....Not sure if I can rate this perfect when I didn't actually follow it. The idea of foil in my crockpot scared me! I cut potatoes in half and lined the bottom of the crock, then I placed diced carrots, celery, and onion on top, I rinsed and dried the chicken and put some onions in the middle of it and then sprinkled it w/ salt, pepper and Salt Lick seasoning on both sides. I added 2 cups of chicken stock and put it on low to cook while I was at work! It was amazing! Loved it! Will definitely make again!
