Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2008
This soup was SO delicious! It's worth the time to used the boiled chicken recipe on this site. I took the advice of others and cooked the soup for a little longer as well and used almost all chicken broth instead of water, this gives it such a hearty flavor. I also doubled the carrots and celery and I used linguine noodles because that's all I had on hand. I'm sure any noodles would work. Thank you for a delicious chicken noodle soup recipe that I will keep forever!

Colleen's Slow Cooker Jambalaya

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2007
This is fairly easy to make and very delicious. The cooking time can be cut a little bit as our chicken was slightly dry, but besides that perfect. You can have extra spice on hand for those who like it spicier, the amount given is a good middle spot. We made this for my husband's birthday dinner and friends said it tasted just like the way the restaurant Pappadeux makes jambalaya!

Squash Casserole with Crunchy Pecan Topping

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2007
I just made this for Thanksgiving as I've been wanting to try squash recipes. It was such a hit! My husband loved it and I took the dish to a work get together and was asked to pass along the recipe. Kids were a little wary to try it, so you might want to tell them that it's similar to sweet potatoes. Very delicious recipe, thank you!

Shaved Brussels Sprouts with Bacon and Almonds

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2008
This was pretty yummy, something different to have for dinner. Something about the red wine vinegar didn't taste right though, and you have to be careful to cook the brussel sprouts long enough for the right texture. Thank you for a different type of recipe and for a new taste.

This cookies were really good and great right out of the oven. They didn't stay soft though later though the flavor was still delicious!
