Tortellini Bacon Broccoli Salad

Delicious. Used Marie's coleslaw dressing. Whole jar and 20 oz pkg tortellini. Superb recipe. Family fave no miss hit!!!!

Quick Savory Cranberry Glazed Pork Loin Roast

Delicious. I too let the roast get to room temp prior to cooking. Used dried thyme and peach preserves. Don't love cubed bouillon so used one pack chicken flavor enhancer by Swansons. Increased horseradish a tad. Was superb cooked to 145. I just made the sauce on the stove top and chopped up half onion to it as well. Split it to serve half and use half to glaze. There was plenty. Foil in bottom of pan helps with cleanup as the sugar in the jelly can blacken in the pan. Will make often. Thank you for the great recipe!!!

Gourmet Mushroom Risotto

Easy and delish! I added chicken pan sautéed too alongside the mushrooms. Topped w Parmesan and a swirl of aged balsalmic vinegar ! Will def add to my regular rotation. But better for cold night. Rich and heavy

Roast Pork with Maple and Mustard Glaze

This was good. Need to brown roast first to caramelize otherwise brown but no crunch. Did what another reviewer suggested and doubled marinade and baked potatoes/yams/onions/carrots in separate pan alongside. While not awful they would have been a better contrast tart and tangy rather than sweet. Too much sweetness even with maple syrup. I added cayenne but there's better options out there. Hot and tangy would have been bette and provide some contrast. Also needs served with something green. Hate all beige meals!!! Next time will do the pork to 150. 145 is always too pink for our family even after sitting out. Will do again but lots of changes needed. Try the pork tenderloin with plum sauce recipe instead !!!

Chicken Dressing

Tender Italian Baked Chicken

This works and is delicious. Our new standard baked chicken breasts. Is hard to get breading thick enough so use super fine grated parmesan not shredded! Delicious and simple.

Five Flavor Pound Cake I

I did not find the flavor special at all. Very dense. Directions need clarification to avoid over mixing ingredients or cake will be dry. Made 2 x. Glaze is meh....ok but not stellar

Pork Tenderloin with Balsamic Plum Reduction

Oh dear God this is delicious!!!! I am lazy so used a can of plums with pits removed. Tiny bit of the juice. Did 3 tblspns balsamic /2 of honey and 2 of brown sugar. Super easy to reduce and chop in pan with spoon. I like it thicker. A nice addition might be a touch of clove spice. Outrageously good sauce. However 145 is really rare pork per my oven. Which is new and state of the art. Prefer 155. A keeper

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Have made this for over 10 years. Both with and without the egg. More cake like with it. Never added sugar as it is plenty sweet. I will try mexican corn for color on occassion. Turkey day no fail classic !!!

Cajun Corn and Crab Bisque

I doubled this recipe. Amounts were perfect except possibly more roux/flour needed. Did not get as thick as I would have liked. Best thickener would have probably been to cook some small cubed potatoes into the recipe. Used fresh jumbo lump crab meat. Definitely a keeper. Would have also liked to see some additional color. Maybe tiny bit of peppers??? Some sharp cheddar cheese???...but then not very bisque like I suppose. But the basic recipe is absolutely delicious. Beware of doubling however. The original recipe makes a lot of soup. A keeper for certain !!!

Cake Batter Ice Cream

Got too thick and pudding like with cooking. Then froze too quickly. Was more frozen pudding than ice cream. Too much cake batter in this. Sounded good but nah. Recipe followed exactly as written. Will keep looking
