Herb Roasted Pork

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2008
This was outstanding. I didn't have any sage so I made a paste out of olive oil, chopped garlic, fennel seed, Thyme and the salt and pepper. It was wonderful but I'm definately going to prepare this again with the sage next time.

Baked Potato Skins

These were very good. Next time I won't bother with cooking my own bacon and will use bacon bits instead. I followed the suggestions of the last reviewer and they weren't greasy at all.

Beer Margaritas

I brought these to one of our monthly "Girls Night Out" gatherings and they were a huge hit. I used 7-Up instead of water which I think makes them extra yummy.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2008
I made several loaves of this bread as gifts this year and it was wonderful. I made one batch according to the recipe and one batch using the suggestions of the other reviewers. Both batches were delicious and so dense and moist.

I made several loaves of bread for friends and family as gifts this year. This bread came out beautiful. Unfortunately, I didn't get to sample any but everyone who received one loved it.

I made these for my Christmas Eve party and they were a huge hit. I followed the recipe exactly except I used a 5 cheese blend for the top.

Red Potato Bites

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2008
I took these to my sister's last night as a side dish to the surf and turf meal she had planned and everyone loved them. My potatoes were probably a little larger because I did end up boiling them for 20 minutes. I followed the recipe but added a little milk, parmesan cheese and some garlic then topped them with sharp cheddar. Yum!
