Chocolate Cornstarch Pudding

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2015
I used to use a recipe that had the extra step of mixing cornstarch and milk and adding that in. The measurements are all the same and this was much easier to make. It's thickening up nicely and smells good. I did take a taste, mandatory, and it is very good. I'll make this from now on. I've always made puddings from scratch. I do often cut back to do half sugar and half splenda on occasion.

Liz's Astounding Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2015
I did double it, using half butter and half shortening. Then I made one gigantic cookie on a cookie sheet, covering it. I baked it for 20 min. It is so good!! It's excellent for a gigantic birthday cookie.

Cinnamon Cookies II

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2014
Very unique cookie. I used the one tablespoon of cinnamon in the recipe and sprinkled the cookies with some cinnamon sugar because I like the sugary glitter it makes. These cookies are divine!! It will be interesting to taste them cool because I don't think they will last that long.

Dark Chocolate Crumb Bars

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2014
Excellent and so easy. We have used milk chocolate chips also, and its's so good. I put my non stick pot with condensed milk and chocolate chips over the element that releases heat, while it's baking for the first few minutes, and the chocolate chips are nicely melted which makes it extra simple.

Banana Cake II

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2014
I'm guilty of changing things slightly because I couldn't find the baking soda, so replaced that amount with the baking powder. I am also guilty of not measuring the bananas, just threw in 3 very ripe medium sized ones. The cake was amazing and a new family favourite. Thank you.

Chocolate Frosting II

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2014
No problem icing cake, but I've always used the technique of dropping spoonfuls all over the cake and then smoothing it over, so I'm always ensured that there is enough icing. We all loved it. We had it on banana cake.

White Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Excellent recipe. Substituted milk chocolate chips and it was sensational. Nice and chewy. It even survived my making two giant cookies and baking them for 14 min. at 350.

Pumpkin Bread IV

Best Ever! We made muffins out of it as well, baking approximately 20 min. and they were to die for. We then made 2 loaves. Everyone in our home loved them, and my husband shared some a work and everyone wanted the recipe.

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

Reviewed: May 28, 2008
I made this last night, and I used the 1 cup cocoa, and one larger pan, for 40 min. It was divine. I have to make it again tonight, because the family went nuts over it. We all agree that it's a wonderful recipe.

Soft Ginger Cutouts

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2007
I will admit that I couldn't find the ginger, and so changed the spices to 3 tsp. cinnamon and 1/2 tsp. nutmeg, and called them spice cookies. They were beyond good. Then made them, again, with ginger, as stated in the recipe, and also incredibly good.
