This is a very rich heavy cake and it smells so good when cooking. I have made this cake several times and it is always a favorite. It also is firm enough that it can be easily decorated for a special occasion cake. This recipe is a keeper.

Oven Fried Chicken III

My family loved this! I used 1/2 cup mayonnaise and 1/2 heavy cream. The second time I made it I put a pat of butter on top of each chicken piece before placing in the oven. This is a very good oven fried chicken recipe and now part of my collection.

Cookie Balls

These are very good and fairly easy to make. Do not place them too close together or they stick together and are hard to get apart. They are very tasty!

Caramel Pecan Pound Cake

I made this cake and added a box of vanilla pudding in the mix and used half and half instead of the milk. When the cake was still warm I took a knife and made small slits over the top of the cake. Then I made a caramel glaze and slowly poured over the top of the cake allowing it to fill the slits. OH MY GOSH!!! This cake not only looked pretty but it smelled divine. It tasted awesome! I have much love for this recpie and will use it again...

Country Breakfast Casserole

My family loved this recipe. It looks pretty when it comes out of the oven and it smells good. It was also good later heated up in the microwave

Golden Potato Soup

This is the best soup! Warm, filling and just plain tastes good and it isn't that hard to make. I didn't put any meat in it and it was still yummy!

Fried Okra

The okra cooked using this recipe was very good but I think if I make this receipe again I will try the Jiffy mix or half flour/half cornmeal mix.

Fruit Cobbler

The cobbler/crust part was wonderful. I used fresh peaches and the peaches didn't get completely cooked. Next time if I use peaches I will cook first.

Seven Layer Taco Dip

This is a really good recipe and easy to make. I used the 1lb of hamburger as suggested by others and I used Pineapple/Peach Salsa and it was great. Everyone loved it.

The Best Banana Pudding

I loved this but if I make this again I will crumble the vanilla wafers. If not, it would have to sit for a long time for the wafers to get moist and not be crunchy. I did like this though.

Luscious Slush Punch

I loved this punch! I halfed it to try it before serving to a group and now I am hooked. It is the perfect blend of ingredients. I used Dole's Orange/Mango/Pineapple juice instead of lemon juce and it had just the perfect taste!
