Cream Cheese Bars II

If there were a higher rating I would give it! I did make a few changes to this though. Followed the advice of TJTENNESSEE and covered the top crescent layer w/ the leftover egg white. I also combined the 1/4C sugar, cinnamon and 1/4C chopped pecans and sprinkled over the top layer. But, the most sensational change I made was baking it in my 9x13 deep stoneware baker. It turned it into something totally delicious! Bake for an additional 10 min., the top will be slightly jiggly but it is done. The cream cheese is molten inside and will serve as a sauce for the pastry crust. Yummy!

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

These were delicious! They rival any restaurant's. I made them two days in a row. Peanut oil is an excellent frying oil, there is less smoke and odor.

Awesome Roast Beef

Italian Style Pork Chops

These are definitely a repeat. The only thing I did differently was that I drizzled the chops w/ the leftover melted butter before placing them in the oven. It made them crispier and easier to remove from the pan.

Frozen Caramel Latte

This recipe is such a money saver! I will no longer buy my frozen lattes from the local bakery, these are so much better. I do not have an espresso machine so, I followed the advice of previous members and used 3t of coffee granules-that's the only substitution I made.

Pork Chops with Blue Cheese Gravy

Very interesting flavor. You have to be a blue cheese fan to appreciate this dish. I did not have whipping cream on hand, so I substituted whole milk in the gravy. Will make again.

Chicken-Fried Steak Strips

Pretty good. I doubled and added hot sauce as suggested by another reviewer. I also made a delicious gravy from 2T of pan drippings, 2T of the left over flour mixture and 2C of whole milk. Will make again.
