Soy and Garlic Marinated Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2011
This recipe was alright. It was very easy which is a bonus. However, it was lacking depth of flavor. Even after I added ginger and brown sugar. I pan seared the chicken and we ate it with rice and snap peas. I also sprinkled sesame seeds on top. Looked good, just needs another flavor.

Gingerbread Biscotti

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2011
Great recipe! It was even better when dipped in melted white chocolate. Would give it 5 stars if the recipe suggested to dip it in white chocolate. Besides that wouldn't change anything about the recipe. Very good!

This was good. It would be best with walnuts or chocolate chips. Would make again.

Raspberry Truffle Tart

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2010
This was very good! I left out the raspberry liquor/extract. Still thought that it tasted like chocolate and raspberries. I gave it four stars because it does take a long time to make and there were many dishes to wash. Overall, it might be time consuming but it was still very good.

Mini Pumpkin Whoopie Pies

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2010
These are very good! I only gave it four stars because I had to add at least 1 extra cup of sugar to keep the icing filling from being insanely runny. Also, this is not a traditional fluffy woppie pie filling, although it is very good. Also, the filling is better to use after it has been refrigerated. Thank you for a good woppie pie recipe.

Blonde Brownies I

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2010
These brownies are nothing special. I followed the recipe and used butterscotch, chocolate and white chocolate chips. I hope there is a better recipe out there.

Apricot-Glazed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2010
Great recipe! This was the first glaze I have made for pork chops and it was great. Used Muscat as the wine and it was a great flavor. Will be making this simple, yet very good recipe again.

Turkey Dumplings

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2010
This recipe is great....after you add some other ingredients, that is why it gets three stars. I boiled the turkey, 2 cups of water, a packet of turkey gravy and a can of cream of celery soup for 30 minutes. Added the refrigerated biscuit dough and after 15 minutes added peas. 5 minutes later it was great! My husband loved it and went for seconds!!

Juicy Thanksgiving Turkey

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2009
This turkey turned out just like its title....very JUICY! It was very good. The only thing that made me not give it 5 starts was that there was no other flavor. Even though I followed the recipe I could not taste the other ingredients. But the turkey was very juicy.

Sweet Potato Enchiladas

Reviewed: May 24, 2009
I made this for my newly vegetarian mom for mothers day, it was great! Two people liked them the way they were, two people thought that more spice was needed. I used flour tortillas and didn't fry them used 1/3 less fat cream cheese and didn't miss those calories at all. Very good, will make again as a vegetarian option!
