Bloody Mary Short Ribs

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2009
Loved this recipe! Didn't have any ribs on hand so I put a roast in the crockpot and threw all of the other ingredients on top. The aroma was wonderful all day and the whole family enjoyed. Thanks for a great tasting recipe!

Tuna Fish Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2009
5 stars making the recipe as is! For fun, I do experiment by adding a few of my fav's such as boiled eggs or sweet pickles. can make it even more healthy by adding half of the mayo and adding red wine vinegar (3/4 T.) as another reviewer suggests! YUM!

Grandma VanDoren's White Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2008
light and airy; favorite of my family. followed the recipe exactly leaving the bread to rise 35 to 45 minutes at each rising. added cheddar cheese before the last rising on one of the loaves and froze 2 before the last rising to make at another time. thanks for sharing this one!

German Rye Bread

awesome recipe! I used a quicker method. I combined All of the water, sugar and yeast. allow to proof (10 minutes). Add salt, caraway seeds, both flours. Allow to rise in warm spot for 1 hour. divide dough into 4 sections. shape into rustic loaves, rise for 30 minutes and bake.

Perfect Baked Jerk Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2008
easy and good tasting. The cook time was a little long for the smaller pieces of chicken, so i had to take them out earlier and wrap in foil to keep warm.

Mushroom Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2008
great recipe! i gave this 4 stars because i did not use the microwave. i sprayed a little pam and fried the patties until done, poured the gravy over the patties, and then let it cook(covered) for 5- 10 minutes until gravy thickened. family loved it!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2008
awesome! very easy to make. as another reviewer suggested, i made a double batch of the icing--now i have way too much icing leftover. if you heat the icing a minute in the microwave it thins out considerably and is more than enough to cover the rolls. whole family loved it!

Spring Lime Tea Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2008
I made these cookies for St. Patrick's day. I made the glaze two different ways--one with powdered sugar and lime juice, the other with white sugar and lime juice(as the recipe states). My family preferred using the white sugar glaze over the powdered sugar. Fresh citrus cookie--yummy!
