About this Cook
I am a SAHM of one 4yr old boy. He challenges me everyday! I am learning to sew. I love to cook because it brings joy to people, and everyone loves to eat!
My favorite things to cook
Homestyle, homemade food. Food that is not too over the top gourmet.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family loves breakfast things the best. So I am always looking for different variations of breakfast.
My cooking triumphs
Had a small holiday cheesecake business for 3 years.
My cooking tragedies
When I was 8 I did not understand the difference between tsp and Tblsp, and made rice pudding with 2 tablespoons salt insted of 2 tsp, even though it was horrible all the adults at my parents party ate it! I did not realize until I tasted it how awful it was! How kind of those people to eat the putrid stuff with smiles.

Basic Chocolate Chip Cookies
I agree with the other, this recipe is not quite right. Here are my changes: 1 stick margarine, 4 cups cookie mix, 1 1/2 tsp vanilla, 1/4 cup of shortening, 3 eggs, 1 cup choco chips: then these turned out great! I agree the basic mix does make tings easier.
