Mexican food is a family favorite. Also Italian and cooking Chinese is new for us.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Thanksgiving & Christmas meals are meals passed down from my family for about four generations. Not much has changed about them and when I have tried to change my family complain & whine wanting the old favorites back.
My cooking triumphs
SHRIMP! We never knew it was so easy to cook and prepare dishes with shrimp. Salmon we experiment with a lot and haven't made a bad salmon dish yet.
My cooking tragedies
Haven't had one of those in a very long time but I made a casserole and it was so bad we had to just toss it out. I'm still reminded of that casserole.
