Apple Crisp IV

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2011
YUM! My favorite apple crisp recipe by far! I cut the "crisp" part down to 1c flour, 1.5c oats, and 2 sticks butter (with a couple dashes of the nutmeg and cinnamon). I also tossed my apples with cinnamon and sugar to give it a bit more flavor. Will make this recipe over and over!

Sean's Falafel and Cucumber Sauce

Great taste! I went the baked route and didn't think they were lacking any of the crunch of the crust and they were perfectly moist inside. Will definitely make again.

Monster Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2011
These cookies turned out great! I substituted the one cup of butter for one cup butter flavored Crisco and the pecans for the walnuts. To keep cookies uniform, I used a 1/4c measuring cup and "loosely" filled it with dough. Then I dumped the cup of dough in my hand and formed it into a tight ball and placed it on my pan- 12 minutes in the oven produced perfect, not too flat cookies! Beware! Recipe makes a very large batch of cookies! Halve recipe if you don't need a million cookies!

Oatmeal Butterscotch Cookies

I lowered the cooking temperature to 350 and refrigerated the dough before dropping the cookies on the pan. The cooking time increased to 11-12 minutes.

My Amish Friend's Caramel Corn

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2009
I found it hard to get all of the popcorn coated evenly, not to mention the mess that was left on the pans. Next time I will definitely line my pans with parchment paper. The taste was delicious despite the spotting coating.

Peanut Butter Balls III

I made these for the first time over the holidays and I don't know how many people have asked me for the recipe since. Make sure when you are rolling the balls to dip your fingers in some extra confectioners sugar to help with the sticking. Can't wait to make them again!

Pecan Pie V

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
This was my first ever pecan pie, but I will certainly keep this recipe! The top of the pie didn't look like a normal pie, but tasted just as good. I liked the fact it didn't have any corn syrup.

Strawberry Pizza

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
This recipe is awesome. I made it because it's a personal favorite at a local tea shop, but I think this one is ever better! The only thing I changed was layering the strawberry sauce on top of the cream cheese layer and then the layer of sliced strawberries.
