Christmas Eve Beef Stew

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2014
I know some people are saying they cut back on the water - there is no water in this recipe, and it doesn't need it. I followed it exactly and it was so good!!!! Give it a try.

Really good. I didn't cook all the way through in the fry pan, but they did finish cooking in the oven. Just took longer than stated.

I loved this soup. Yummy leftovers for a week!! Unfortunately, my family doesn't love cheese soup. WHATEVER - they are wrong. This soup rocks (if you like cheese soup, and I sure do).

Baked Spaghetti

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2011
So good. Enough for 8-10 people, for sure. Put a pan under it in the oven for overflow. Would be a great recipe to take to a friend after they have a baby or need a dish. Bring with green beans or a salad. Enjoy!

Famous Pork Chops

Very good pork chops - do not need 1/2 cup butter - 1/4 cup is plenty. Used Ritz Crackers - put them in the blender with the pepper and garlic salt.

Just okay. Some people suggested less cool whip so I used 8 oz. and it wasn't enough. Use 12 oz. for sure.

Hearty Hamburger Soup

Added macaroni, because I didn't have barley. Also, only one can of beef broth and extra water. and 2 lbs of hamburger. This was really flavorful. Play with the recipe - it is hard to ruin.

Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2011
Excellent!!! Use as much or as little with 1 lb ground beef and 3/4 cup water - my whole family loved the flavor of this. Note: Substituted Minced Onion for the Onion Powder since I was out of Onion Powder. Substituted regular salt for sea salt since I didn't have any sea salt. Didn't add any red pepper flakes, because I have two small kids and was unsure of the heat factor.
