Sausage Stuffed Jalapenos

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2008
Exellent flavor! I tried 3 different cheeses, blue fcheese in some, cheddar in some and asaigo in most, and then wrapped in half slice of bacon. Make sure you put on a boiler pan so grease can drain. Also, if at 20 min. the bacon is not done enough for your taste, do not just let it bake longer...the cheeses will run out! Instead, broil for the last 5 minutes to crisp up the bacon.WEAR GLOVES & melon baller does an easy job of taken the seeds and veins out. As you are de-seeding them, put the clean ones in a bowel of cold water in the sink. Run clear cold water thru them or rinse and change water. Soak them while you are preparing other ingredients.Take gloves off and discard as soon as you are finished handling the peppers or you could get the hot pepper juice on your cabinet pulls, frig door, pot handle, etc! After assembly, place the whole pan of peppers in the freezer for 15-20 minutes to get the cheeses really cold so they don't ooze out! UPDATE: To make them faster, after you have the peppers cleaned and soaking in cold water...make little "cigars" of the filling approx. the size of your peppers. Then just place inside the pepper, mash in a bit, stick in freezer to chill. It made filling them go so quick that way...

Fun, quick, and easy to make! Will put a smile on anybody's face! I'm not fond of whole wheat pitas so I used a flour taco as a substitute...very tasty! Loved the touch of Ranch dressing as a glue....adds to the flavor!

Green Beans with Cherry Tomatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2012
So quick and easy with fresh veggies from the garden! Really tasty and the basil just adds that touch! I didn't add sugar because I made it for 3 diabetics. Try to quickly saute the tomatoes....just enough to heat thru so you can still taste the freshness of the garden! Great summertime side dish!

Easy easy! I really can't tell any difference by using the microwave as opposed to steaming on the stove. TIP: make sure you cover your bowl so that the butter down't splatter all over the microwave.

RAINY DAY tips! Made the dough in the breadmaker, followed the recipe to a "T" otherwise.I let it rise/rest for 15 minutes before I prebaked the crust for about 8 minutes @400. Then added all the toppings and baked for 20 minutes. Easy and really good!

Excellent cookie! Made these for Thanksgiving and even the people who weren't fond of peanut butter LOVED them! I have to say it is the best peanut butter cookie I've ever made! Chewy in the middle and crisp edges....not dry at all, like the kind the you have to have milk with or you choke? Not this cookie!

Beef Enchiladas II

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2009
Didn't have enchilada packet but it was so easy to make with the TEN MINUTE ENCHILADA SAUCE (On AR) so it made it all the better with homemade sauce! I used venison burger and what a great way to disguise it! Added some mild green chilies cuz I had them....this is really a cheap and quick dinner!I used corn tortillas and dipped them in the enchilda sauce to soften...a little messy but worked great, since I had the homemade sauce on the stove anyhow! Another Keeper!

Cheesy Potato Soup I

Very good and easy! I used real bacon bits and skim milk but other than that...followed the recipe exactly. This makes a lot so I ended up adding extra potatoes (boiled on the side) because I wanted it hardier. Loved it and so did my neighbors!
