Fisherman's Quick Fish

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2008
MADE IT AGAIN...This time using Flounder...used up the ends of Green goddess and some Ranch dressing....again...5 star recipe! I love the fact that I used up the ends of bottles and the bottom of the chip bag...things you would normally just discard! So quick to make too! UPDATE! Used whiting this time, a stronger fish and had to sub Mozzarella and Mexican Parm, exellant crust on top!Mixed the cheese and chips in a ziploc, added parsley for prettiness!PREVIOUSLY: SSoooooo easy! I used Tilapia, and used mostly sharp cheddar but added a couple of tablespoons of blue cheese and pepper jack trying to use up some bits and pieces of leftover cheeses. I piled the topping on (i mayt have made extra topping since I just eyeballed it. Good way to use up the bottom of the chip bag! The timing and temperature were perfect....the only tip I would add is: Spray or grease the pan really, really well! The cheese that melted off the edges of the fish wanted to stick and you don't want to fight with it to get it off the pan...use foil lining, too.

JELL-O Patriotic Mini Fruit Tarts

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2013
Really easy! I used homemade graham cracker crust (Recipe:Graham Cracker Crust I) and just pack it into the mini cups very tight, then froze them to set. I tried the Jello cheesecake pudding for a twist and it really was delicious! Thank you, Jello for such a pretty dessert!

Anniversary Chicken I

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2009
Very good and easy too! I had to make my own Teriyaki Sauce(on AR,BY JUDY) and I just marinated the chicken in it while I chopped the onions, waiting for the fry pan to heat. I was out of RANCH dressing but used Green Goddess and it still came out great. I only baked the chicken long enough to melt the cheese, maybe 15 minutes but my chix breasts were fairly thin and didn't want to overcook them. We will be having this again! Thanks for a great recipe!

Garlic Crab Legs

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2009
Works great with Snow Crab legs too! I always sprinkle a little Old Bay on the legs at the end, when ready to serve for presentation AND the Old Bay transfers to your fingers and add just a little more taste to your handpicked crab!

Simply Lasagna

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2008
This was super easy and pretty quick to assemble!Tasted great and after letting it set for awhile before serving, stays stacked and pretty. I made 2 8X8 casserole dishes of this, baked one immediately, then froze the other. For the freezer: let sauce be last layer, lay plastic wrap directly on sauce to make sure no air can get to it.If you freeze in glass dish, bring to room temperature before you bake or start it at 250 for 1/2 hour, then raise temp to 350 for 40 min or so.Put last layer of cheese on in the last 15 minutes. This is great to keep in freezer for the days you just don't feel like cooking!

Loved it! So easy and it does taste like pizza...I used Johnsonville hot sausage, just took the casing off and crumbled it in big pieces! Definitely would make this again....so quick, served with a green salad and garlic bread....done in 30 minutes! I did use green olives because its what I had on hand....make it like you like your pizza...I was wishing I had mushrooms! Thank you Johnsonville for this recipe!

Green Beans with Cherry Tomatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2012
So quick and easy with fresh veggies from the garden! Really tasty and the basil just adds that touch! I didn't add sugar because I made it for 3 diabetics. Try to quickly saute the tomatoes....just enough to heat thru so you can still taste the freshness of the garden! Great summertime side dish!

Emily's Pizza Burgers

Reviewed: May 22, 2012
Easy and very tasty! The only thing I'd change is add the sauce to the top of the burger and then melt the cheese to prevent soggy buns. Also works with jarred spaghetti sauce for a super quick lunch! Great creation, Emily! Thanks!
