Italian-Style Chicken Noodle Soup

I agree that this needs a few more herbs and flavors. I added onion, oregano, salt and pepper...but this is very quick and easy! Serve with garlic bread and a salad...very hearty soup!

Cyndee's Best Slow Cooker Italian Pot Roast

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2015
Used bottom round steak and decided to use the slow cooker, diced to a large food bite. I did everything as the recipe calls for....but, add extra slices of raw pepper at the end, otherwise it will turn to mush....added some corn starch to make a great gravy too! Added about a 1/2 cup of salsa and that made all the difference!

NO YOLKS® Creamy Chicken Noodle Casserole

Quick and easy once the chicken is done! Would be great for rotisserie chicken too! If you haven't tried No Yolks, try them! They are exactly like regular egg noodles, minus the yolk. Very good recipe!

Creamy Garden Cucumber Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2015
Love this! Since I'm not a huge fan of cukes, this has changed me! Will make this again, thanks for the recipe! (PS yes, way too much dressing, it may appear to taste too salty, but the cucumbers do balance that out. TIP:Don't skip the salt your cukes step, it releases water, so the dressing doesn't get so watered down)

Leah's Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2015
So easy and quick, inexpensive too! I save chicken parts when I trim a chicken, just for soup! I did use dill seed and it tastes wonderful, makes the house smell homey on a cold day... I did add peppercorns since its easier to strain and I have an abundance.

Greek Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2015
LOVED THIS! Made exactly, but used a slightly spicier pepper. Don't overbake if you like the pepper a little crispy. TIP: Microwave your bacon for 5 minutes before you wrap the peppers....it'll crisp up faster in the oven! If your feta is really crumbly, add a tablespoon or two of cream cheese to the filling...it holds it together easier while you wrap the bacon. Definitely would make this again!

Super easy! DELICIOUS! I served with slice tomatoes and rolls. Really no changes except I added a touch of ginger and garlic in the cabbage water. Salted the egg noodle water, too! So Cheap...

Saffron Scented Cauliflower Pasta

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2014
Easy and a good use for cauliflower! To add depth, add garlic, dried red peppers, chives and/or parmesan cheese for a main dish. Serve with salad and a hearty bread...perfect for vegetarians! I bought Mexican saffron from Trader Joe's for around $6.99.....so it is POSSIBLE to find saffron fairly cheap without killing the budget. I really like this one with the add-ins....KEEPER!
