Does anyone know how long you have to write your blog before it times out?

Hi Cindy! I don't know for sure but if I get to blogging and then realize I've been on for too long, I usually just save it on either Word or another word processing program (Google Docs is good). I hate putting time into a blog post and then have it vanish. And there's no auto-save function here so that's seemingly always a possibility.

Hi Cindy, I write mine in Word first and then copy & paste to here, no spell check here or coloured font!!

I've never 'timed-out,' but I've lost my work more times than I care to count. I also write mine in Word first, unless it's a real quickie. Still, once I've pasted it here and am screwing around with formatting, it is far too easy to lose it (there is a beautiful little magic that happens if you hit the backspace at the wrong time - you lose the whole shebang and want to choke everyone). Please email AR about getting us a working, saveable 'draft' feature for the blogs - they are looking for input as the blogging feature is still in the developing stages - so the more bloggers that mention it, the better. Ciao! :)

Thanks All! I thought I knew, but was trying to teach SWchef. When we all get new laptops and Word costs more(than the laptop) this will difficult to copy and paste. For those who may not know, use your email. Hit COMPOSE, it can work like Word....Just a thought!

Cindy,My computer or AR policy will not let me finish the conversation. I had to come here to get a message to you. Never stop listening to the music. Skate Creek

About Me
Down here in Central Coast Florida since late Aug. 2012. I still cook and bake and its so good to be around family again!
My favorite things to cook
There is just one of me but I do cook dinner almost every night. I love easy dishes on the nights I really don't feel like cooking. Grandmommy Capps lived in Rocky Mount, NC....Sundays were a holiday! Dinner was at 2pm. Leftovers were snacks later(dark thirty)....she was a great biscuit and piemaker. Being the oldest of 23 grandchildren, I was the BEST dishwasher! Hand wash everything in a washpan! I've never heard of it??? You need one to play as your wash sink, and then you rinse in the kitchen sink.....It was air dry either....someone had to dry ALL the dishes! I love my Sis for that!
My favorite family cooking traditions
We have ham, blackeyed peas, collard greens, and corn muffins on New Year's Day for good luck! Peanut blossums are my favorite cookie for Christmas!
My cooking triumphs
"Banana Crumb Muffins" were delicious & gorgeous, looked store-bought!
My cooking tragedies
I have left the neck(in the bag) in the turkey in the past 5 years! I should know better! Always rememember to check BOTH ends of the turkey before you cook it! I'm Blonde...Sheesh!!
