OMG....JL...is that web camera on again!!!! Just gave me a creepy feeling that you really could see my kitchen mess! Not to mention I haven't even combed my hair yet! LOL!

LOL! Nope, no camera. But like the rest of us AR addicts, I'm willing to bet you spend more time on here than actually cooking. I know I do! :)

From AR Kevin...Tip: You can also create a custom url. It's a small feature. But kinda fun. :-) For example, Traci's profile is at: http://allrecipes.com/Cook/10395721/Profile.aspx Instead, she could make it.... http://allrecipes.com/Cook/TraciIsTheBestCookEver/Profile.aspx To do this, go to "My Allrecipes", and then click the Account Settings link towards the top. That'll take you to the settings page. Once there, scroll to the bottom and you can set your custom url. And yes... there are more features on the way! :)

Hi Cindy, thanks for your comment re my question about lemon pepper. I'm afraid I can't just go to a dollar store and get some as I'm living in a forelorn village in France, but with other comments I made out what it is and am looking forward to have a try at the recipe. Thanks anyway. Cheers.

Thanks for the recipe, it was good but not the right one. I still use it and just change up a few things. I think I threw it away when I was cleaning up the last time I used it. Feel free to send more if you like or if you need one,I'll send you one. Talk to you later.

I can't wait til the weather gets better here and garage sales abound! But I did get a great deal this week at Kohl's shopping for a shower gift. Denny had gotten me a very pricey cast iron covered casserole for Christmas that I could not justify. But he gets hurt when I return things. We were together at Kohl's and there was a 7 qt red one (oval) half price. Wednesday was an additional 15% off and I had a $10 coupone - stole the darn thing! Now I can't wait for a super pot roast - yum.

About Me
Down here in Central Coast Florida since late Aug. 2012. I still cook and bake and its so good to be around family again!
My favorite things to cook
There is just one of me but I do cook dinner almost every night. I love easy dishes on the nights I really don't feel like cooking. Grandmommy Capps lived in Rocky Mount, NC....Sundays were a holiday! Dinner was at 2pm. Leftovers were snacks later(dark thirty)....she was a great biscuit and piemaker. Being the oldest of 23 grandchildren, I was the BEST dishwasher! Hand wash everything in a washpan! I know....you've never heard of it??? You need one to play as your wash sink, and then you rinse in the kitchen sink.....It was fun.....no air dry either....someone had to dry ALL the dishes! I love my Sis for that!
My favorite family cooking traditions
We have ham, blackeyed peas, collard greens, and corn muffins on New Year's Day for good luck! Peanut blossums are my favorite cookie for Christmas!
My cooking triumphs
"Banana Crumb Muffins" were delicious & gorgeous, looked store-bought!
My cooking tragedies
I have left the neck(in the bag) in the turkey in the past 5 years! I should know better! Always rememember to check BOTH ends of the turkey before you cook it! I'm Blonde...Sheesh!!
