The Family is under financial duress and needs money to cremate her, if you could possibly donate anything at all.... this truly is for her cremation. Thank you so much!

From her daughter:

Kristen Hooper Hall  : I have opened an account under Kristen Hooper at Chase Bank to make donations into. Checks, etc. have to be under my name as I cannot sign for anything under moms name. The account number is 3027709009

This is so sad. I had just talked to her the day before this happened. Thank you for posting this, Cindy, I will definately go to Chase this week to help Kristen out. Just a tragedy...

Thank you for posting this Cindy. I had heard some bleeps on the buzz - but didn't know much more than that. My prayers are with the family. She now has her own mansion - kitchen included.

So sad. My prayers are with her family.

What a shock! She was the bedrock of that family. I hope her disabled mother has someone else willing to step up & care for her now. Kristen & Bella have lost a loving mother & grandmother.

I still find this so hard to accept. Life is so fleeting. One day Sharyl was here with us, playing games on Facebook and chatting, and the next day she was simply gone. I'm still trying to wrap my brain around it. R.I.P. Sharyl. You are dearly missed.

Thank you Cindy, for posting. I have things on my way to help Kristen with the expenses. It's not much, but she really has a lot to worry about right now with that and Christmas too. I still can't believe Sharyl is gone. It really makes one evaluate what's important and makes you realize, life is short no matter how long your on this earth. Love the ones you love and let them know it so you have no regrets before leaving.

Deepest condolences to Sharyl's family. Prayers to all in their time of need.

Just to let anyone who is planning on donating - I stopped at Chase just a bit ago and it took me less than 5 minutes to make a deposit. They were really great. Best of luck to you & your family Kristen. You will be in my prayers. (((hugs)))

About Me
As some know(thank you for your support)my Hubby passed away in April 2011. I sold the home in KY the day before I moved down to Florida, I was such a lucky duck and so thankful. Down here in Central Coast Florida since late Aug. 2012. I still cook and bake and its so good to be around family again!
My favorite things to cook
There is just one of me but I do cook dinner almost every night. I love easy dishes on the nights I really don't feel like cooking. Grandmommy Capps lived in Rocky Mount, NC....Sundays were a holiday! Dinner was at 2pm. Leftovers were snacks later(dark thirty)....she was a great biscuit and piemaker. Being the oldest of 23 grandchildren, I was the BEST dishwasher! Hand wash everything in a washpan! I know....you've never heard of it??? You need one to play as your wash sink, and then you rinse in the kitchen sink.....It was fun.....no air dry either....someone had to dry ALL the dishes! I love my Sis for that!
My favorite family cooking traditions
We have ham, blackeyed peas, collard greens, and corn muffins on New Year's Day for good luck! Peanut blossums are my favorite cookie for Christmas!
My cooking triumphs
"Banana Crumb Muffins" were delicious & gorgeous, looked store-bought!
My cooking tragedies
I have left the neck(in the bag) in the turkey in the past 5 years! I should know better! Always rememember to check BOTH ends of the turkey before you cook it! I'm Blonde...Sheesh!!
