Please have all info in by MONDAY, December 1st... Especially for our sweetie pies Overseas! We have Military folk here too....Its just a few Christmas cards to add to your list!  Unfornately, I just found out Overseas Mail should be sent by Nov. 30th. I will make sure our gals over there are on the first lists. Possibly they may get there in time! You may start getting your card lists as soon as Monday Tuesday this week....Watch for them!

There is not too much time to do this....after the Thanksgiving Holiday,  no fooling around or Last Minute Lucys!

So how this works is....Because of the wonderful response from everyone., you will only be asked to send cards to approx. 10-15 people.Everyone gets the list of EVERYONE who registered, but ...you send a Christmas card to everyone in your group on the list, but you will get the entire list so if there are others you'd like to send a card to . You should get a card from at least 10 great AR people from different  areas and  maybe a different country. Its fun and great to learn about geography and your AR friends! Please don't sign up if you have a doubt that you will not be able to do this....Please?

I think that would be so fun but can't afford it either..it would be nice to be able to send to who you want although I wouldn't want anyone offended because I didn't send them one!.."sigh" :(

Nov. 20, 2009 6:47 am
Just sent my email. Looking forward to being in on the fun! Thanks!

I'd love to participate but with all the problems (flooding, etc) we have had this year I can't afford to. Hopefully next year will be a different story!!

Nov. 20, 2009 7:11 am
I wish I could, but too much going on right now! I hope everyone else has a fun time with this! Sounds great. :)

Nov. 20, 2009 8:02 am
This sounds wonderful but at this time I don't have the extra funds to participate. I hope ya'll have a great time! I'm sure it will be nice to get lots of cards from all of our AR friends

Nov. 20, 2009 8:12 am
ok hook me up. e-mail coming my lepp!

Nov. 20, 2009 8:35 am
Regarding stamps in Canada, it costs 96 cents to send to the States, and 1.65 international. There's now way I can spend $50-$100 on Christmas cards.

Nov. 20, 2009 9:50 am
Unfortunately, I won't be able to participate in this one either! Have fun though and if I can I'd love to do it next year. :)

Nov. 20, 2009 9:57 am
I so wish I could do this but it is just beyond my pocketbook this year. Sounds like so much fun though!

Nov. 20, 2009 10:36 am
Is there any way people who have a tighter budget could sign up and then be grouped into 10 to 20 people so it's a little more affordable?

Nov. 20, 2009 12:01 pm
I just sent you my information. Thanks so much. I love this idea. I can't wait to get started.

Nov. 20, 2009 1:00 pm
I'm so glad I caught this! Definitely will sign up!

Nov. 20, 2009 1:14 pm
Ooohh! I want to sign up! (I have to get hubby in on it though.) This sounds like a great idea, I would love to give (and get) a ton of cards. Dear Postal Service: Please lower the price of stamps. Love, Amelia lol

Nov. 20, 2009 1:23 pm
I'd love to but just can't afford it at this time. If you ever do smaller lists of 15-30 I'd love to participate. Wishing you all a beautiful holiday!

Nov. 20, 2009 2:07 pm
Very cool! I'd love to participate - just sent you an email.

Nov. 20, 2009 3:33 pm
I would love too...but same as some others....not in budget this year. Hopefully you can figure out a way to make the smaller lists??

Nov. 20, 2009 4:35 pm
I would love to maybe do this - however for "security" reasons, possibly not -- and I would ask for only a few names (for financhial reasons too!) nice Idea, though!

Nov. 20, 2009 6:11 pm
SUCH a great idea!!! Love it :))

Nov. 20, 2009 6:53 pm
I'm on a Weight Watchers board also and we are doing a card exchange but we only get 12 names. That's more reasonable I think. I can afford for 12, not for 100 - 200. Anyway, I hope all of you participants have a great time!!!

Nov. 21, 2009 3:32 am
Hey CindyLepp! What about sending ecards? For those that might like to do that we could give one person, such as yourself, our email addresses. Cindy in Pensacola kinda hit the nail on the head alluding to the expense of having to respond to possibly a hundred or more cards via snail mail. Am I making sense here? We don't want to ignore anyone because everyone is dear to us and we have the desire to respond. Yet, maybe sending a greeting via email might be an alternative to taking it out of an already pared down Christmas budget. Just wondering.

Nov. 21, 2009 4:34 am
Looks like the money is going to be in charge here! We can't join the fun either - retirement doesn't provide for 100 stamps. I would love to do 25 or so. A more reasonable amount. Can you change the rules a bit for us on a tight budget?? Please?? Pretty please??

Nov. 21, 2009 8:57 am
GREAT IDEA, BUT BETTER IF YOU BROKE IT DOWN INTO SMALLER GROUPS LIKE OTHERS HAVE ASKED.. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Nov. 21, 2009 9:14 am
Hermin from Kingston,Jamaica What a great idea, but I rather send email cards exchange rate is high in my country

Nov. 21, 2009 9:23 am
id like to do it too but wow the postage sending cards to all of you. can i have the broke people list of like 25 or 50 people?

Nov. 21, 2009 11:46 am
Yea! I see we can limit it to 10-20. Icould do that but not to a hundred or so, as much as I would love to so count me in!

From the way I am understanding, Cindy will divide up everyone into group and you are only expected to send 10 - 15 cards (of course, you can send more if you like). This way, you are guaranteed to get at least 10. I don't think anyone is expected to send 100 cards. Am I wrong?

Nov. 21, 2009 1:57 pm
I am breaking it into groups, Everyone! 10-15 is what it will be....12 sounds good so it may just be that! Don't worry, you will still get the whole list, just in case those who'd like to send a few more....but I think the final list will come a day or so after you get your original group names....Just need to make sure no one gets missed!

Nov. 21, 2009 2:21 pm
This is entirely too much fun! I can't wait! Thank You Cindy!! :)

Nov. 21, 2009 5:06 pm
This will be fun- thanks!!

Nov. 21, 2009 6:04 pm
Cindy, my mom(sharyl4) sent you an email to sign us both up. She got her email conformation but I wasn't sure if that was just for her or the both of us?

Nov. 22, 2009 1:25 pm
Hi Cindy - Thanks for taking this on and even more for deciding to do it in groups. I know it is more work for you, but it makes this more doable for most of us.

About Me
Down here in Central Coast Florida since late Aug. 2012. I still cook and bake and its so good to be around family again!
My favorite things to cook
There is just one of me but I do cook dinner almost every night. I love easy dishes on the nights I really don't feel like cooking. Grandmommy Capps lived in Rocky Mount, NC....Sundays were a holiday! Dinner was at 2pm. Leftovers were snacks later(dark thirty)....she was a great biscuit and piemaker. Being the oldest of 23 grandchildren, I was the BEST dishwasher! Hand wash everything in a washpan! I know....you've never heard of it??? You need one to play as your wash sink, and then you rinse in the kitchen sink.....It was fun.....no air dry either....someone had to dry ALL the dishes! I love my Sis for that!
My favorite family cooking traditions
We have ham, blackeyed peas, collard greens, and corn muffins on New Year's Day for good luck! Peanut blossums are my favorite cookie for Christmas!
My cooking triumphs
"Banana Crumb Muffins" were delicious & gorgeous, looked store-bought!
My cooking tragedies
I have left the neck(in the bag) in the turkey in the past 5 years! I should know better! Always rememember to check BOTH ends of the turkey before you cook it! I'm Blonde...Sheesh!!
