Spinach Salad with Red Potatoes

I followed the directions to a tee (except for the mushrooms) and my husband and I thought the recipe was good but needed something. The potatoes were bland and need to be spiced before adding to the salad (they didn't hold much flavor from the dressing). I just ate the leftovers for lunch and think it's actually better the next day after the flavors marinated--and I liked it better with all of the spinach wilted. I'm sure that I will try this recipe again but experiment on adding flavor to the potatoes.

This was so good! I was looking for a recipe right before dinner time so it only marinated for about an hour but it was still so tasty (and I assume it only gets better with time). We served it over cheese tortellini and oh my! It's going to be my go to dish this summer. Thank you for sharing the recipe!

Addictive Sweet Potato Burritos

Yum! This was so good...I love sweet potatos and this is a great (and unusual) way to use them. I followed the recipe with one exception, I took the advice of another reviewer and added the spices to the onion and garlic to sautee and help release the flavors. Other than that I followed to a tee. The only thing I will change next time is how I asemble the burritos...I spooned the bean and potato mixture beside each other and it didn't mix enough. Next time I will spoon the beans and potatos on top of each other so the flavors mix more.

Colonial Hot Buttered Rum

I was so excited to try this recipe. The flavor was good, however, I have never had a drink with so much butter in it. I couldn't finish it and had to keep spooning butter off the top of the drink. I really thought that I would like. If you make this and are not used to having butter in your drinks, I would cut the butter down to half, if not more.

Roasted Brussels Sprouts

I thought these were soo good! I made them this year at Thanksgiving and like the other reviewers have said, people who didn't like brussels sprouts liked these!
