Spanakopita II

These were so much better than any frozen kind. It was a bit tedious to make since I had not used phyllo before but once I got all set up and started getting the hang of it, it went faster. Will make again and freeze half to have my own homemade spanakopita whenever I want! :)

AMAZING!!!! I took others advice and toasted the nuts (I used walnuts) and prepared the sauce before starting so that it was completely cool when it was time to pour over the baklava. It turned out perfectly! I had never worked with phyllo dough before so it took a little longer then stated to make but it was so worth it! I will definetely be making it again (and my husband can't wait!)
