Gluten-Free Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2013
Loved these! I did 1/2 brown and 1/2 white sugar and added a pinch of salt. Whichever reviewer said to leave the dough out for 10 mins was right. I usually refrigerate the dough and it was unnecessary with these. Super good!

These are fantastic and so easy! I made them as mini cupcakes so they were totally bitesized, and they were wonderful! Love it!

I love this more than I can possibly express. Thanks so much for this. (My diet, however, does not love this. I could eat it all year long!)

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili

I added a small can of corn and a green bell pepper, as well as some sausage, and it came out fantastic! My husband and I loved the taste - I'll be making this many more times.

Pecan Pie V

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2010
Took forever to set - about 2 hours at 300. Was worth it though. The top looked kind of strange, but tasted great. The lack of syrup made it less sweet, which my husband and I really liked. Traditionalists in my family didn't really like it though. I'll be making it for my husband and I though!

Edible Spiders

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2010
Easy to make, but the first few came out ugly. Once I got the hang of it they looked nice. I had a hard time getting the balance of chocolate and butter right so that they weren't sticky - so I ended up serving them with toothpicks. I also used pretzels for legs. I ended up making the spiders, dumping the whole spider in the chocolate mix, then turning it over with a fork, and then fishing it out with the fork. The I stuck them in the freezer to harden.

Spooky Witches' Fingers

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2010
I used jam as someone suggested. Also, I rolled the fingers then stuck them in the freezer to help them hold their shape. They still ended up a bit fat, but looked disgustingly perfect. Everyone loved them. VERY strong almond taste, which I liked.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2010
Tasted great! I used fresh basil as another poster suggested. No salt. 1/2 the sugar written. I ended up with 4 layers based on how much pasta I had: I did meat, pasta, ricotta, meat, pasta, Parmesan and mozzarella, meat, pasta, ricotta, meat, pasta, Parmesan and mozzarella. It was delicious! Ended up making 3 full meals for my husband and I.

Fettuccine with Sweet Pepper-Cayenne Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2010
Used about 1/2 tsp cayenne and is was perfect for us. I followed the suggestion for 1/2 c broth instead of 3/4 c, which worked well. I also substituted green bell peppers (WAY cheaper) and it came out great. Added chicken and it was very filling. Delicious - loved the kick.

This was wonderful! I actually blended the strawberries in the blender with water, then mixed everything together. I also made cupcakes instead. Recipe made about 36 cupcakes. Bake at 325 for about 18 minutes.

Burgundy Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: May 23, 2010
Super easy to make. I used a full onion (figured it couldn't hurt) and it was great. Loved the sauce, although it was a bit thin. The pork was wonderfully moist. My husband usually doesn't care for prok, but he loved this.

Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2009
I added a bit of Tequila to the pan and was lighter with the garlic sprinkling at the end, like another poster suggested. I'm not sure if it was necessary, but the result was wonderful! I served with the campfire greenbean recipe (on this site) and cous cous.

Sushi Roll

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2007
I used this recipe only for the rice of my sushi rolls. I thought the vinegar was way too strong, and there was also a bit too much sugar. I had to make a second batch of plain rice to mix with the sushi rice to dull the taste a bit. Of course, I'm used to sushi from Japan, which is a bit more mild than American sushi.
