Mexican Hot Carrots

Good old fashioned "zanahorias curtidas". I like to add a pinch of oregano...makes a difference.

Mexican Wedding Cakes I

EXCELLENT! I made them on Christmas Eve and everyone loved them. I made half with confectioners sugar and the other half i mixed the powdered sugar and cinnamon. Thety were both great.

Blueberry Pie

SOOOO DELISH! I made a minor change, i added an additional 1 and 3/4 cups of blueberries and it was perfectly sweet. Also the blueberries i used were frozen. This recipe is a definite keeper. Thanks.

Tasty Green Bean Casserole

i altered the recipe to yield more servings it then required for me to use 2 cans of cream of mushroom, but since im not a big fanof those condensed soups or creams i added 1 can and 1 can full of chicken broth. I added 2 more cups of cream beans than what the then altered recipe called for and they came out delishis. Thank you for your recipe!

Perfect Pumpkin Pie

Everyone loved it. I do agree to pre bake the crust as i found that even after leaving the empty crust in the oven for 15 min. it still came out a bit soggy. Overall the taste was great. Thank you

Garlic Mashed Red Potatoes

I gave this a 3 star because the mashed potatoes were great AFTER massive allteration. I followed the recipe to the T. They were dry and pasty. I rushed around to add anything that would make them creamier. I needed the recipe to yield twenty portions so threw in nice amounts of the following i Threw in Half and Half, ALOT more butter, 1 tub of sour cream, garlc salt, parsley flakes, and pepper. After all of those additions i would give it a five star.

Bill's Sausage Gravy

No need to keep searching for any other sausage gravy because this is the best hands down. I doubled the recipe. My husband is lactose intolerant so i used Whole Lactaid milk except that i only used 4 cups instead of the 6 cups of milk that the recipe called for ( low lactose milk usually doesn't thicken in sauces) and it came out great. Nice and creamy no one could tell that it was done with lactaid milk.Thanks for sharing your recipe!!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Amazing!! no words can describe the perfection of this cookie. I used salted sweet cream butter and let the dough chill for about 10 min. Everyone loved them. They were gone before they had a chance to cool.
