Lemon Raspberry Cake

This is SO delicious. I used almost an entire 18 oz jar of jam though (including some warmed up and drizzled on top of the frosting), so that was more than the recipe called for. I think more is better. I also couldn't get the lemon peel, so I added extra fresh lemon juice and the frosting was yummy. This recipe is great.

Balsamic Bruschetta

I thought this was terrific. I served it on a black olive filone baguette. I liked it put on untoasted bread, topped with a little extra parmesan, and toasted until the cheese is melted. This makes it extremely delicious.

Shrimp and Portobello Mushroom Fettuccine

I made this without the shrimp, as I'm vegetarian. It was so delicious! But the sauce was rather thick, so if you don't like that then you'd want to thin it out. But it was fine for me, I loved this!

Doughnut Muffins

These are super easy to make, but did not taste like a doughnut to me. Also, I had to brush butter on tops (which did not rise, in fact, they caved in) in order for the sugar-cinnamon topping to stick. I was somewhat disappointed. They're good, but not as good as other muffins, and definitely no replacement for doughnuts.

Soft Molasses Cookies V

These ARE super soft and tasty - they taste like gingerbread, but have a smoother texture. However, the dough was incredibly hard to work with, even after being refrdigerated. It was too sticky!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

These really are the Best! So big and chewy and delicious! I doubled the recipe (to have enough to feed a classroom) and used 2 cups chocolate chips and 2 cups chopped pecans, which is a change I highly recommend.

Chunky Cheesecake Brownies

These taste terrific! I accidentally made them in a 9x13 pan instead of 9x9, which made it harder to spread the layers, and also made the brownies kind of thin, but they taste great. I bet they're even better when you bake them in the right size pan!

Candy Bar Brownies

I followed other reviewers' advice and used almost the whole 14 oz can of condensed milk, instead of what the recipe says. It turned out great; these are my absolute favorite brownies! Even after a couple days they're still chewy. The nougat and caramel melt together and into the brownie mix and are so delicious!

Nutella® Cheesecake

Although a lot of the other reviews have said that this was very rich, I followed the recipe exactly and could have liked a bit more Nutella flavor! I will try it again with more next time. And the name of cheesecake is rather misleading, this is more of a Nutella cream cheese pie than a cheesecake. But anything with Nutella and cream cheese has to be good, and this definitely was!
