Urban Legend Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2010
These cookie were VERY good. I took them to work and all my coworkers loved them. I followed the recipe exactly as written, not changing a single thing. My only complaint, I wasn't too happy with the way they looked after baking, they looked nothing like chocolate chip cookies. Everyone thought they were oatmeal cookies at first glance; I think it was because of the grated chocolate.

Mexican Rice II

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2010
I have been trying to find a good mexican rice recipe for a veryyyy long time. Most recipes I tried came out mushy, but I gave this recipe a try and it turned out PERFECT! I followed the recipe exactly, and it was nice and fluffy, just like you would get at a good mexican food restaurant. I'm happy that I finally found my go to recipe!

White Chocolate Macadamia Cranberry Dreams

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2010
I think these cookies are VERY good. I brought them to work for the holiday's and everyone loved them. I followed the recipe exactly, not changing a single thing. Personally, I think you could cut back on the sugar a bit, as they are a bit on the sweet side.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2010
This pumpkin bread is *SO* good!! I have been making it for two years now, and I just can't get enough! It's so moist and delicious! I followed the recipe to a "T". I've cooked it in loaf pans and a bundt cake pan and it turns out great each time! This is a keeper and a must try!! I think it tastes similar to the Starbucks pumpkin bread, but much better! You're missing out if you don't give this recipe a try!!

I give this recipe 5 stars b/c the flavor is awesome! I love the sweet and spicy flavor together. My ONLY complaint is that they came out rather mushy (which I think can be fixed, but need to find the "trick".I wanted them crispy.

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2008
This recipe was great. I totally forgot to add in the garlic (which I *love*), but it was still really good. I will continue to make this and make sure I add the garlic. The veggies I used were zucchini, onions, and red bell peppers. Yummy! NOTE: I agree with others thatyou need to double the recipe for the sauce.

Fusion Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2008
This was pretty tasty! I like the flavor of the chicken with the apples eaten together. I didn't peel my apple and it was fine. I didn't have any tomatillo salsa, so I made it without and it was still good. Overall, it's very good for a health dish!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 29, 2008
These were okay. I followed the recipe to a "T" with the exception of others recommendations of using brown sugar for the topping (which was AWESOME)I agree that the parts that don't have blueberries is pretty plain. These were good, but not to die for.

Clay's Sherry Wine Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2008
Wonderful!!!!! Got a similar recipe from a friend, but without the nuts. Also, if you mix some powdered sugar and cream sherry together (to desired consistency), poke holes in top of cake and pour mixture over top, and let the mixture absorb, it’s wonderful. It makes the cake SO moist and delicious. It's a MUST try recipe. It doesn't look as good as it tastes!!! It melts in your mouth it's so good. You can also use apple sauce in place of the oil and its VERY moist and semi-diet friendly. YUMMY!

Creamy Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2008
This banana bread was awesome! I made it for my fiancé and he LOVED it, too. The only thing I did different was I took the nuts out (don’t care for nuts) and I didn't do the cinnamon center as suggested. I did the "Banana Crumb Muffin" (on allrecipes.com) topping. (In a small bowl, mix together 1/3 cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons flour and cinnamon. Cut in 1 tablespoon butter until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Sprinkle topping over muffins [loaf]). It was delish! I will make again for sure!!! Note: I have bigger loaf pans so it only made one, but took longer to cook. Don't "walk" away, try it!

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2007
These muffins were awesome! My fiancé LOVED them. I will surely make them again. I loved the crumb part on the top, so delicious! The only thing I did differently was I made mini muffins, which were perfect for snacks and food on the go. If you make mini muffins like I did you have to adjust your time, I think they took me 10 mins to cook. These are wonderful!
