Peach Cobbler Dump Cake I

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2009
Super easy to make! I made this a few times, and I decided to cut back on the butter the second time around (I used 2/3 of one stick of butter instead of the whole stick)and I just cut the pats a little smaller. I think it was just as good, and no one noticed the difference! I also tried this with pineapples instead of the peaches...yummy! I'm going to try canned strawberries in light syrup next...the possibilities are endless!

Banana Sour Cream Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2009
I made this during Christmas and this was simply the best banana bread I had ever tasted! My family gobbled it all up by the next day (good thing I had doubled the recipe!) Will definitely be making this again! Thanks for sharing!

The Best Lemon Bars

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2007
First time making these and they turned out great! I used 2/3 C of bottled lemon juice as someone suggested, and I also added 1/2 Tsp of salt to the crust. In my opinion, this was the perfect amount of salt as it helps cut the sweetness from the lemon filling. Though I think next time I'll try using 1/4 C or less of sugar for the custard, and see how that turns out. I kept these bars refrigerated and tightly covered for days and they stayed fresh long after! I was afraid to eat them all, so I gave them away...and WELL received if I may say so!

Cherry Pound Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2007
This is a very good cake! I tried using low fat cream cheese and margarine, but it wasn't as moist as the first time I made it with regular ingredients. I added my own touch to this by making a pecan-glaze topping. I toasted the pecans in a little butter, and then took some of the cherry juice and powdered sugar and made a glaze it with. The nuts never lost its crunch or its buttery flavor, and just made the almond flavor and cherries really stand out. Everyone raved about it!
