About this Cook
My cooking tragedies
I worked in an assisted living facility as a cook and had to make liver one night. I followed the recipe but somehow managed to screw it up. One of the residents came back to the kitchen and threw his piece of liver at me and called me a *B* lol

Coconut Poke Cake
I'm not too fond of coconut but I'm glad I gave this recipe a try. I used the amount of cream of coconut and sweetened condensed milk that the recipe called for. I almost cut back on it and I'm glad I didn't. I loved how moist the cake was without being soggy. It was perfect. I didn't think it was overly sweet as some commented. The only thing I did differently was made my own whipped cream from off this site and stirred in the coconut flakes. It was delicious!

Strawberry Angel Food Dessert
I have been making this for years except I always use sugar cookie for the bottom instead of the angel food cake. Always a hit.

Easy Garlic Broiled Chicken
This recipe is great and simple. I cut back the garlic to 2 tbs instead of 3 (just personal preference) and baked it for 45 min at 375 like some other ppl suggested. I turned and basted the chicken in 15 intervals. Everyone loved it, especially my kids. Thanks :)
