White Chocolate Blondies

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2010
I really wanted these to be good but they just weren't. They had a texture of fudge but tasted raw.

White Chocolate Macadamia Creme Brulee

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2010
I followed the recipe to a T and it never completely set up. The flavor is great but I've got more of a thick, cold soup...

Frosted Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2009
These cookies are very festive for fall but the cookie itself is a little on the dry side. The frosting is like eating a praline- very tasty!

White Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2009
I'm giving these 5 stars because people couldn't stop talking about them at the party! I did use about 2 TBSP more milk and I melted the chips before adding them to the batter. *Very difficult to spread to I just sprayed my hands with PAM and patted the batter into the pan, worked perfectly!

Playgroup Granola Bars

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2008
So far, the best granola bar recipe I've tried. Stayed VERY moist and delicious and freeze well. I used half oil and half apple juice and it worekd just fine. I used dried cherries and a few white chocolate pieces to make the kids happy. Everyone loves these!!!

Almond Squares II

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2008
This recipe was so easy and the end result was a perfectly moist almondy shortbread-like bar. They were perfect with a cup of coffee and they were gone in minutes at the husband's work! *I did use Almond filling in place of almond paste just because it was more affordable*

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: May 20, 2008
I really did not understand where the "spice" was in these to justify the title. They really needed more cinnamon and maybe some nutmeg or ginger. iI'm glad I tried these to compare but I think the recipe on the oatmeal container is better.

Raspberry Oatmeal Bars

Reviewed: May 19, 2008
I enhanced the flavor a little with adding 1/2 tsp. Vanilla and almond extracts to the dough. It really gave this recipe a boost. Will make again, thank you.

Almond Bars

Reviewed: May 15, 2008
I would classify this as a cake and not a bar. It was soft and moist but you really needed a fork to eat it. Had I not sprinkled the top with sliced almonds and sugar I think it would have been a little bland. I'm happy with the taste but if I make these again I will definately use a Larger pan so it's more of a traditional bar.

Apple Squares

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2008
These are really great! They are not particularly pretty or impressive to serve to guests but they taste amazing! These would be really good at the bottom of a caramel sundae!

Cloverleaf Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2008
I'm giving this cookie 4 of 5 stars because the flavor was spot on and the idea was unique and creative but the cookie itself wasn't as pretty as I imagined them being. They were a little flat for my liking but once again, tasted great! Each "leaf" of the clover rose differently in the oven so they ended up lopsided. After baking a few pans I found that I had to roll the P.B. ball the smallest because it got the "puffiest". I will definately make these again but will probably change the shape of the cookie so they will bake evenly.

Strawberry Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2008
This bread was good, I didn't have quite the full amount of nuts so I added some unsweetened flaked coconut and the flavor was great! Mine took muvh longer to bake (over an hour) than the recipe said.

French Bread Rolls to Die For

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2008
These are wonderful! One of the only bread recipes I've made that was successful- which says a lot in itself. I made them a little larger and sprinkled sesame seeds on top to make hamburger buns. Will make again!

Baked Coconut Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2008
This was creative, unusual, fun to make but in the end it wasn't my favorite. I think the basic idea of coconut and ginger is great but this was much too sweet for my family's taste. I used unsweetened coconut but the gingersnaps is where all the sugar came from. I will try this recipe again without the cookies and add a little gorund ginger to the breading mix.

Golden Coconut Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2008
I wish everyone could taste this pie! The filling tates like coconut caramel and it's wonderful! The recipe made more filling than my pie pan could handle so I baked the extra in a ramakin and that turned out delicious too. It did take a little lomger to bake, about 1 hour.
