About this Cook
I've been cooking and baking for as long as I can remember. From helping with dinner as a child to making complicted pastries when I was in High school to cooking dinner for my Husband and I every night, cooking is in my blood.
My favorite things to cook
I am obsessed with Mexican and Italian foods as well as pastries.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every Christmas we have a list of recipes that we all make, the best ones being choco-lime and choco-cherry.

Mexican Casserole
This was a pretty good recipe. I didn't have any chicken on hand so I made it with hamburger meat. I used a whole jar of salsa(about 1 1/2cups) and added a jalapeno. It was so yummy, but tasted even better when I added a dollop of sour cream to the top. Worth making as long as you put your own personal spin on it!

No Knead Beer Bread
Great recipe and easy to make. You can really taste the beer in there too. I used Blue Moon. Very good.

White Cheese Chicken Lasagna
Very Very good! My husband could hardly wait for it to be done baking it smelled so good!!! I wasn't a fan of the frozen spinach. I think it would taste better with fresh spinach. Also its very rich So I would plan on serving it with a light salad.
